Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was born and raised in Colombia, then moved to New York before relocating to Miami in September 2020 during the COVID pandemic. Starting over in a new city inspired me to pursue something I truly loved. I’ve always had a passion for creating organized, functional spaces, so I turned that into Kari Professional Organizing. Today, I help people simplify their homes and lives through customized organizing solutions, and I couldn’t be happier doing what I love.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all. Starting a business from scratch in a new city wasn’t easy. I had to build my client base, earn people’s trust, and wear every hat in the business. Like any entrepreneur, there were moments of uncertainty, but those challenges taught me resilience, and every step has been worth it.

Kari Professional Organizing helps people transform cluttered, overwhelming spaces into organized, functional homes that are easy to maintain. I specialize in creating customized organizing systems for closets, kitchens, pantries, bedrooms, and other living spaces, always tailoring each project to my clients’ lifestyles and needs.
What sets my business apart is that I don’t just organize homes. Help create peace of mind. Clutter can contribute to stress, anxiety, and feeling overwhelmed, and an organized space can have a powerful impact on mental well-being. My goal is to create systems that simplify everyday life, reduce decision fatigue, and make coming home feel calming instead of stressful.
I’m most proud of the trust my clients place in me and the emotional transformation I witness. Seeing someone feel relieved, lighter, and more in control after an organizing session is the most rewarding part of what I do. That’s what Kari Professional Organizing is all about: creating homes that support a happier, healthier life.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Miami represents a fresh start for me. Moving here during the pandemic was a leap of faith, but it ended up being one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. This city gave me the opportunity to build the life and business I had always dreamed of. I love the sunshine, the ocean, and the fact that every day feels full of possibilities. If I could change one thing, it would be the traffic, but that’s a small price to pay for everything this city has given me.
