Hi Kadina, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
This story is currently about my brand – TheCalmDownSpot ( TCDS) where we are not just for aesthetics but for Gods kingdom. I created TheCalmDownSpot when calming down my depression, anxiety, fear and many others by clinging onto Jesus. I started the concept back in 2024 and after getting baptized in 2025 I really wanted to be obedient and to build a brand that would give glory to the Lord.
We are rated E for everyone so it doesn’t matter if you have fallen from the faith and came back years later, if you are a baby or seasoned believer – we are here to encourage you and to remind you that you are heard, seen and held by the Lord
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I have my fair share of trials and tribulations especially when the online sessions are not converting to actual sales as well as being too caught up in the social media space since the algorithm is always changing but I’m learning to trust in God plans/timing and to remember why I started this ; To spark His calmness and hope into others even if it’s just one person.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Honestly my mentor is the Holy Spirit and when it comes to networking I find that going to pop up shops as a vendor has help me meet new people and gain in sight on how to improve my brand.
