Mamma’s Dip is a household favorite, born in the kitchen of a Miami Mamma, as most delicious things are! Mamma Eli, a mother of five, has been making this sizzling dip for years for all special occasions, including her kids’ birthdays and other gatherings, where friends come for the party but stay for the Mamma’s Dip.
Mamma’s 5th child, Gabriela, decided it would be great to spread Mamma’s love through Mamma’s Dip when her friends kept requesting the dip for every pregame and party. Since then, Mamma’s Dip has been taking over hearts and Instagram feeds all over Miami. Mamma makes the dip and her daughter runs the biz – a duo almost as good as corn chips and corn dip!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Overall, we’ve been very fortunate to have a smooth road starting up our business. Our biggest obstacles have been keeping up with demand and learning to expect last-minute orders. While we’re known for sharing Mamma’s love, Mamma’s preferred order notice is 24 hours in advance. Also, we definitely can’t show up to a party without a Mamma’s Dip, or we’ll never be invited back (or so we’ve been warned).

Mamma’s Dip is a family business through and through. We love to spend time with our big family and we want you to enjoy being with those you love too. We specialize in making people look forward to every gathering, and bringing a Mamma’s Dip to the table is always a good reason to get together.
What sets us apart is that we’re not afraid to be cheesy or corny, in fact, that’s our specialty! We love Mamma’s Dip and want you to love it too. That’s why every dip is made with Mamma’s love.
We are most proud of the loyal following we’ve been able to get in the short amount of time we’ve been in business. From friends and family to some of Miami’s top influencers like @mr,eats305, @miami_foodporn, and @davegrutman, we’ve received a lot of support from our Miami locals. We’re really proud to be a part of our local community and we’re so grateful that they seem to love us too!
We offer a party-size Mamma’s Dip – serves 6-8 people, for $20 and for an extra cost, chips and delivery (varies based on distance).
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
Although the COVID-19 pandemic obviously had its drawbacks, it gave us enough time at home together to get creative and take Mamma’s Dip to the next level. Additionally, the pandemic sparked online ordering and support for local businesses so we came into the scene at the perfect time. Also, with Gabriela in charge of dip deliveries, the online school schedule was very helpful.
