Exploring Life & Business with Ella Davar of Global Longevity Association

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ella Davar.

Hi Ella, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Ella Davar, RD is a clinical dietitian, longevity expert, and visionary entrepreneur who immigrated to the U.S. with a dream to transform healthcare through science, education, and lifestyle innovation.

Originally from Eastern Europe, Ella came to New York City with a dual passion for medicine and communication. She earned her degree in Nutrition Science from New York University and trained at Mount Sinai Hospital, where she led groundbreaking workshops on the microbiome, metabolic health, and chronic disease prevention.

After years of working with top doctors and functional medicine clinics, Ella founded the Gut-Brain Method™ — a science-based, results-driven approach to reversing chronic illness, enhancing mental performance, and promoting healthy aging through personalized nutrition and mindfulness techniques.

Her commitment to merging clinical precision with holistic wisdom quickly positioned her as a sought-after expert on national TV, TEDx stages, and top wellness platforms. Ella is also the President of the Global Longevity Association, where she brings together world-class health leaders, scientists, and innovators to redefine what it means to live a long, healthy life.

Today, she hosts international Longevity Dinners, curates nutrition education programs, and serves as a trusted voice in the wellness space for high-performers, CEOs, and health-conscious changemakers.

Ella’s mission is simple: to empower individuals to take control of their health and to make longevity science accessible to all.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Ella’s journey has been anything but smooth — and that’s what makes it powerful.

As a young immigrant arriving in New York City alone, she faced the uphill battle of building a life, a career, and a reputation in one of the most competitive health markets in the world — all while learning to navigate a new culture, language, and medical system.

Breaking into the wellness industry as a licensed medical professional, Ella quickly saw that traditional care often failed to address the root causes of disease. This realization led her to pioneer her own path, combining evidence-based nutrition with integrative approaches — at a time when functional medicine was still widely misunderstood.

She also faced personal health challenges. After becoming a registered dietitian, Ella developed severe eczema linked to gut imbalance and parasitic infections — conditions she ultimately healed herself through the very protocols she now teaches in her Gut-Brain Method™. That experience solidified her belief: true healing starts within, and education is the most powerful form of medicine.

Financial risk, industry pushback, and even visa insecurity didn’t stop her — they shaped her into the bold, resilient leader she is today. Every challenge became part of her calling to educate, empower, and redefine what’s possible in healthcare.

As you know, we’re big fans of Global Longevity Association . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
The Global Longevity Association is an international organization founded by Ella Davar, RD, that unites the world’s leading voices in science, medicine, wellness, and innovation around one mission:
to make longevity science accessible, actionable, and impactful for all.

We are known for curating high-level, invitation-only gatherings such as the Longevity Dinners — held at prestigious venues including Mar-a-Lago, the White House Historical Association, and Switzerland’s Longevity Investors Conference. These events bring together investors, health leaders, entrepreneurs, and policymakers to share breakthrough solutions in preventative medicine, metabolic health, cognitive resilience, and nutritional science.

What sets the Global Longevity Association apart is our cross-disciplinary, global approach. We bridge evidence-based healthcare with functional medicine, cutting-edge biotech with regenerative practices, and clinical science with mindful living. Our goal is not just to extend lifespan — but to enhance healthspan, productivity, and purpose at every stage of life.

We specialize in:

Longevity-focused education and advocacy

Elite wellness event experiences and private retreats

Strategic partnerships with health brands, clinics, and researchers

Thought leadership and content that empowers professionals and the public

We are most proud of our ability to make complex science relatable, and to build real community among high-impact leaders who are shaping the future of healthcare — not in silos, but at the table together.

At our core, we believe longevity is not a privilege — it’s a movement.
And through education, collaboration, and innovation, we’re working to make #LongevityForAll a reality.

What were you like growing up?
Ella Davar grew up on an organic farm in Russia, surrounded by clean air, nutrient-rich soil, and seasonal homegrown food. Her early environment was the definition of “natural wellness” — fresh produce, fermented vegetables, homemade yogurt, and herbal remedies were part of daily life. On paper, it was the perfect foundation for good health.

But despite this idyllic setting and a nutrient-dense diet, Ella began experiencing digestive issues and inflammatory symptoms at a young age. She was later diagnosed with gastritis and gut inflammation — conditions that didn’t add up from a purely nutritional standpoint.

What she came to understand, through her education and clinical research, is that repressed emotions, chronic stress, and unspoken trauma can have a profound impact on gut function and immune health — even in the absence of a poor diet.

Ella was a naturally curious, intuitive, and empathetic child — more interested in why things happen than simply accepting the way they are. She was deeply tuned into human behavior, and even at a young age, had a sense that the body and mind were inextricably linked.

That realization eventually fueled her career path and led to the creation of the Gut-Brain Method™ — a science-backed, integrative program that treats gut dysfunction and metabolic imbalance through personalized nutrition, emotional awareness, and mind-body interventions.

Today, she teaches future healthcare practitioners to recognize that healing doesn’t start with prescriptions — it starts with asking better questions. Ella’s mission is to train a new generation of providers who prioritize mental health alongside metabolic health, who understand the gut-brain axis not as a buzzword, but as a roadmap to long-term vitality.

Her childhood taught her that health isn’t just what you eat — it’s also what you suppress, what you feel, and how you live. And that message is now at the core of everything she teaches.
