Exploring Life & Business with Dwayne Delves of Body by chosen

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dwayne Delves.

Hi Dwayne, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started Body By Chosen in Toronto with a simple mission: to help people transform their bodies, mindset, and lifestyle through discipline and consistency. It began with small group sessions, outdoor workouts, and one-on-one training. I didn’t have a big facility or investors—just a passion for fitness, a strong work ethic, and a belief in building a real community.

As results spread, so did the brand. Clients started referring friends and family, and Body By Chosen grew into a movement built on accountability, hard work, and support. That momentum allowed me to open multiple locations and expand the brand beyond Canada.

I eventually brought Body By Chosen to the United States, opening a location in Miramar, Florida. The gym was built on the same foundation as Toronto—community, structure, and real results.

Today, Body By Chosen continues to grow, offering personal training, boot camps, and boxing programs, while also expanding into online coaching and the LTMA lifestyle brand. What started as small sessions in Toronto has become an international fitness community, and the mission remains the same—less talk, more action, and real results.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. There have been a lot of ups and downs, failures, and lessons along the way. Like many growing businesses, we’ve had locations and projects that didn’t work out the way we planned. We attempted to expand into places like Montreal and New York, but those ventures didn’t succeed, largely because we didn’t have the right people in the right positions.

One of the biggest challenges has been building the right team. Having the wrong people around can slow down progress and hold back growth. Those experiences taught me how important leadership, culture, and accountability are when building a brand.

Instead of letting those setbacks stop us, we used them as lessons. Every challenge helped us improve our systems, choose our team more carefully, and grow stronger as a business. The journey hasn’t been perfect, but the obstacles have shaped Body By Chosen into what it is today.

We’ve been impressed with Body by chosen , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Body By Chosen is a results-driven fitness brand built around discipline, community, and accountability. We specialize in personal training, small group boot camps, and boxing-based conditioning programs designed to help everyday people transform their bodies and their mindset. Our approach combines strength training, conditioning, and lifestyle coaching to create real, long-term results.

What sets Body By Chosen apart is the culture. We focus on building a family-like environment where clients feel supported, challenged, and motivated. It’s not an intimidating gym atmosphere—it’s a community where people of all fitness levels can come in, work hard, and see progress. Our motto, “Less Talk, More Action,” reflects the standard we hold our clients and ourselves to every day.

We’re known for high-energy classes, structured programs, and a strong sense of accountability. Many of our clients stay with us for years because of the environment and the consistent results they achieve.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the community we’ve built and how the brand has grown from small outdoor sessions in Toronto to multiple locations and an international client base. Body By Chosen is more than just workouts—it’s a lifestyle centered around discipline, consistency, and self-improvement.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
My favorite childhood memory was definitely traveling. I used to travel a lot with my dad, and those experiences really opened up my mind at a young age. Seeing different places and cultures made me realize there was a bigger world out there than just where I lived. It inspired me to think bigger, dream bigger, and believe I could do more with my life. Those trips played a big role in shaping my mindset and the way I approach opportunities today.
