Diana, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve always believed beauty is more than what we see on the surface — it’s a reflection of our internal health and how we feel within ourselves. My journey began as a nurse practitioner, where I cared deeply for patients’ overall wellness, but I constantly noticed a gap between traditional aesthetics and true functional health.
That realization became the foundation for PURUS Aesthetics & Wellness — a place where regenerative aesthetics meet functional medicine. I wanted to create a space where beauty treatments didn’t just mask the issue but helped the body heal, restore, and rejuvenate from within. What started as a small vision has evolved into a full wellness experience that blends science, artistry, and personalized care.
My mission has always been to help women feel radiant and confident — not by changing who they are, but by helping them reconnect to their healthiest, most vibrant selves.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The journey definitely hasn’t been a straight line. Balancing entrepreneurship, motherhood, and medicine has been both rewarding and humbling. There were seasons where I felt pulled in every direction — trying to grow a business, manage a practice, and still show up fully for my family and patients.
One of the biggest challenges was rebranding and redefining the identity of the practice while staying true to my purpose. Transitioning from a traditional medspa model to a functional, longevity-focused practice required courage, education, and the willingness to do things differently.
But those challenges pushed me to grow — to trust my intuition, build systems, and lead from a place of alignment rather than perfection. Looking back, every obstacle was really a lesson in resilience and clarity.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I think what some might call “luck” has really been divine timing and alignment. Every pivotal moment in my career — from meeting the right mentors to discovering new regenerative technologies — happened when I was brave enough to take the next step, even if it was uncertain.
There were definitely moments of serendipity — the right opportunities showing up just when I needed them — but I believe luck meets preparation. Every challenge, every risk, and every small act of faith opened a new door for growth.
In the end, I see it less as luck and more as grace — the quiet unfolding of a path that was meant for me.
