Exploring Life & Business with Cameron Cline

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cameron Cline.

Hi Cameron, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I first started all the way back when I was just 11 years old. I was playing AA hockey in Kitchener, Ontario, and picked up doing puck tricks. As I started getting really good at it, I started making videos to share my skills with others and doing sports edits for social media. Pretty soon, other friends and teammates were asking me to do videos of them too. That’s when I knew I had a talent for videography. But everything came to a crashing halt when I got injured on the ice, with what turned out to be a severe concussion. The doctors at the time said I would have permanent brain damage and probably have to quit hockey for good.

This threw me into a negative spiral for a few years. I started to question things and lose direction in my life. But then two things happened that got me back on track.

The first was reading the book “Limitless” by Jim Kwik. That book completely reshaped my understanding of the human mind and human potential, and it motivated me to learn more about how to improve myself. I started setting daily goals and taking daily actions to push myself back in the right direction.

The second thing was that my brothers had suddenly become really good at puck tricks in their own right—maybe even better than I was! They were sharing their talent with the world, but we realized they deserved to have that done with the highest quality content possible. So, I dug up my old camera and picked up where I left off filming routines for them.

The next thing I knew, the footage blew up and they were appearing on America’s Got Talent—where they ended up as semi-finalists! I was inspired by their success and realized that I could go beyond what I was doing and could also shoot for the stars as they did.

That experience changed everything. Suddenly, all these big-name clients knew who I was and wanted me to do work for them. As I started taking on more and more projects, I realized that videography is not only something I’ve always been good at, but something I really enjoy doing and could see myself spending my time on for years to come.

As the business grew, the lessons of that book stayed with me and I didn’t want to just stop there. I was super motivated to pass the lessons on to others and keep making a positive impact in the world. So, I expanded what I do into offering mentorship for my peers, teaching them the lessons of my life and how I overcame my own challenges.

Now, I’m not only a luxury videographer, but also a motivational speaker, podcast host, and everything else I need to be to make that impact.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As I mentioned, my hockey concussion changed my whole life at the time and threw me into a very difficult state for a few years.

There was a lot of negative self-talk going on in my mind during that period, and I thought there was nothing I could do about it. I didn’t see the vision for my life the way I do now. The result was that I just totally stopped doing anything productive.

The realization that finally allowed me to change was seeing that the only way to grow was to fall into limitation and then break through it. That’s what happened to me.

If you really want to grow, the best time is when you’re in the darkest moments of your life, because that’s when you have the most you can learn and the most you can change. Realized that was a huge motivating factor in steering me back in the direction that got me where I am today.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
My team and I create original, high-quality, luxury commercials, ads, and promos for businesses and individuals across all kinds of industries.

Ever since my hockey days, I’ve always been a team guy—and that’s still true today. I have an awesome team that I love working with, who are pros in everything they do. We have a production designer and a pro editor, and we all work together as a dream team.

We all believe that the best way to succeed is to put all our unique talents together and work towards a common goal. Our high skill level and fast pace allow us to collaborate and thrive together, no matter where we are in the world at different points in the project.

We see things through from start to finish and also go beyond the norm of what a photoshoot would involve.

As for my mentorship services, I believe that how someone sees themself is how the world will see them, so I help get the clients into the right mindset to project the kind of confidence they want the world to see them with. We all help each other grow and reach our full potential.

I’m proud of all my work, but the clients I’m most excited about these days are the awesome luxury car dealerships I’ve been working with both here and elsewhere—especially BMW Grand River and MPH Club.

What’s next?
I hope to continue finding new ways to grow the scope of my expertise and skills, so I can keep on adding new dimensions to the types of services I’m able to provide my clients with.

I would also love to add more people to my team and expand this awesome crew so we have the capacity to provide services to even more people. I also eventually hope to start teaching my skills and techniques down the road.

I can say at this time that I have some really big and exciting clients on the horizon in the near future, but I’ll have to keep their names a surprise for now.

With mentorship, as I continue pushing myself to grow as a person, I hope to become a better and better mentor, with more and more knowledge that can transform the lives of my peers. There’s no limit to what a human mind can learn, so each and every day I learn or discover something new that I can offer.

I also hope to speak on worldwide stages and at bigger events, to help more people understand my message that life is a beautiful thing and that no challenge is too big to overcome.

Life is limitless. So are my plans.
