Exploring Life & Business with Belen Capaccio of Capaccio Realty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Belen Capaccio.

Hi Belen, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was born and raised in Ecuador, and in 2008 I moved to Miami looking for opportunities and a better future. Like many immigrants, I arrived with dreams, ambition, and the willingness to work hard for everything I wanted to achieve.

In 2010, I married my husband, Pablo, and together we began building not only a family but also several businesses. Today, after 17 years together, I can honestly say that our journey has been built on teamwork, perseverance, and a shared entrepreneurial spirit.

Many people know me through real estate, but my business experience started much earlier. Over the years, my husband and I have been involved in the automotive industry, growing a used car business that now operates multiple locations. Along the way, we expanded into financing, automotive services, and international investments.

While helping grow these businesses, I learned invaluable lessons about leadership, operations, customer service, sales, and entrepreneurship. Those experiences shaped the businesswoman I am today.

But if I’m honest, my heart always belonged to real estate.

My passion for homes and design started in 2014 I earned a Certificate in Interior Design from the University of Miami, and I became fascinated by how spaces can transform the way people live and feel.

Before becoming a broker, I worked for several companies where I met mentors, colleagues, and friends who believed in me and encouraged me to pursue bigger goals. Many of those relationships remain some of my closest friendships today. They helped me realize that I had the potential to build something of my own.

Over time, real estate became more than a career, it became my calling.

I loved helping families find homes, guiding investors toward opportunities, and watching people build wealth through strategic decisions. What attracted me most was that real estate combines business, relationships, design, and finance all in one industry.

Eventually, I founded Capaccio Realty, a boutique brokerage based in Miami focused on luxury real estate, investments, pre construction developments, and international opportunities.
One of the things I’m most proud of is seeing how far this journey has grown. What started as helping families buy and sell homes in Miami has evolved into building relationships and investment opportunities across multiple countries. Today, we have strategic partners in Panama, Colombia, Dubai, and Mexico, including a beachfront development project in Puerto Escondido. Being able to connect investors with opportunities around the world while maintaining a boutique, relationship driven approach is something I never imagined when I first arrived in Miami in 2008

Today, I have the privilege of leading a growing team while helping clients invest not only in South Florida but also in emerging markets throughout Latin America and beyond.

But my proudest accomplishment is not a business.

It’s my family.

Being a mother of two daughters while building multiple businesses has been one of the greatest challenges and greatest blessings of my life. My girls are the reason I continue pushing myself to grow, learn, and create opportunities.

I want them to see that women can build successful careers, lead organizations, support their communities, and still prioritize family.

Beyond business, giving back has become increasingly important to me. Through volunteer work and organizations like TECHO, I’ve had the opportunity to help families in need and gain a deeper perspective on what truly matters.

Those experiences remind me that success isn’t measured only by revenue or achievements. It’s measured by the lives we impact and the opportunities we create for others.

Looking back, I never imagined the path would lead here, from arriving in Miami as a young immigrant to becoming a business owner, broker, investor, wife, mother, and community advocate.

And the truth is, I feel like I’m just getting started.

My goal is to continue growing Capaccio Realty, expanding our international footprint, educating investors, mentoring future agents, and creating a legacy my daughters will be proud of.

Because at the end of the day, success isn’t about what you build for yourself, it’s about what you build for the people who come after you.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not. Like most entrepreneurial journeys, mine has been filled with challenges, setbacks, and lessons.

When I moved to Miami in 2008, I was starting over in a new country, learning a different culture, building a network, and trying to create opportunities from scratch. Nothing was handed to me, and there were many moments when success felt far away.

One of my biggest challenges has been balancing entrepreneurship and family. Building businesses while being present as a wife and mother of two daughters has required constant sacrifice, discipline, and prioritization. There were days when I was managing clients, employees, investments, and family responsibilities all at once.

Professionally, I’ve experienced market shifts, economic uncertainty, and the challenges that come with growing businesses in multiple industries, including automotive, finance, and real estate. Every new venture came with risks and moments of doubt.

Another challenge was learning to trust myself. Early in my career, I often questioned whether I was ready for bigger opportunities. Fortunately, I was surrounded by mentors, colleagues, and friends who believed in me and encouraged me to keep moving forward.

Looking back, I wouldn’t change any of it. The difficult moments taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of building strong relationships. They also reminded me that success is not a straight line it’s a journey of continuous growth.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Capaccio Realty is a boutique real estate brokerage specializing in luxury properties, investment opportunities, pre construction developments, and international real estate.

What sets us apart is our relationship driven approach. We focus on helping clients build wealth through strategic real estate investments rather than simply completing transactions.

With over 14 years in the industry and a background in entrepreneurship, finance, and interior design, I bring a unique perspective that helps clients identify opportunities and maximize value.

Today, through strategic partnerships in Panama, Colombia, Dubai, and Mexico, including a beachfront development project in Puerto Escondido, we help investors access opportunities both locally and internationally.

The accomplishment I am most proud of is building a company based on trust, integrity, personalized service, and long term relationships. At Capaccio Realty, our mission is simple: helping people create opportunities, build wealth, and invest in their future.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was curious, independent, and always eager to learn. I loved connecting with people, exploring new ideas, and finding creative solutions to challenges. I was naturally drawn to business, entrepreneurship, and design from a young age.

Looking back, the qualities that have shaped my career today hard work, resilience, determination, and a passion for helping others were already part of who I was growing up. Family, relationships, and creating opportunities have always been at the center of everything I do.
