Hi Ashley & Anyika, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
We met at a local nursing travel assignment right after completing another out of state travel assignment. At the time, we were completely burnt out from the long work hours of nursing during a pandemic. We were working 84 hours a week for months during the pandemic in New York, California, and Texas all throughout 2020. After sharing our depressing work experiences during the height of COVID-19, we started to build a bond with each other. Our stories turned from depressing thoughts and emotions to laughter and humor to eventually sharing our ideas of what we wanted to accomplish as nurses. We quickly realized that our individual goals and dreams of being entrepreneurs and making an impact in the nursing industry were the same. This is when we decided to take that leap of faith and start our business.
We saw a cosmetic surgery industry that was in need of better service from professional registered nurses with years of experience dealing with high-risk patients in high-stress environments. With our experience as nurses and recent experience working during the pandemic, we seized this opportunity to provide high-quality post-operative care to cosmetic patients right in the comfort of their homes. After five months of planning, strategizing, and developing a business plan, Drip N Bodied was created. We were on a mission to bring luxury IV hydration and post-operative care services to the South Florida community. In addition to providing nursing care for our patients, we also educate them on how to protect their investments so that they continue to look great well after surgery. We attribute our success largely to our focus in patient education, patient empowerment and high-quality nursing care.
Drip N Bodied has been blessed with the opportunity to service hundreds of clients and we look forward to servicing many more!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There is a lot of misinformation online about cosmetic surgery especially pertaining to post-operative care. We believe that patient education is patient empowerment, and that’s why Drip N Bodied uses its social media platforms like Instagram (@dripnbodied_recoverynurses) and YouTube (The Real Nurses of Miami) to share advice and tips. Through these platforms, we do a deep dive into important post-operative recovery topics. As knowledgeable registered nurses, we are here to change the narrative surrounding cosmetic surgery and post-operative care.

Drip N Bodied is a nurse-owned and operated concierge, IV hydration and post-operative care company. We service clients in South Florida’s Miami-Dade area in the comfort of their home, hotel, or Airbnb. Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
We cannot attribute the inception of Drip n Bodied to luck because it feels more like faith. We met on a travel assignment and became fast friends with similar interests. Both of us were very passionate about patient care and after a day of sharing our dreams, we came to the realization that we could provide high-quality care on our own terms as nursepreneurs.
