Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Rodriguez.
Hi Andrea, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I’m an executive producer known as Andreaproducer.
I was born in Bogota Colombia, since I was a child I was always influenced by my dad for cameras, photos, and videos. Since I was 15 years old, it was clear to me that I wanted to study something related to audiovisual media.
At the age of 17, I started my career in Audiovisual Media with an emphasis on cinema, I was living my dream and I was the happiest. In the middle of my career, I started to look for places that would allow me to know and learn more about cameras, and that’s when I met an elderly man in a rental house who was in charge of repairing and organizing the cameras. Every afternoon after school, I would go there and help him clean and organize the cameras, I learned about film cameras, and he taught me how to set up the film and also about the digital world, and that’s how little by little I got to know more people in the audio-visual world.
At the age of 18, I started working with Fox for Latin America where I had the opportunity to work for several years doing series and commercials, and that’s where I could start to train in the professional world, passing through various departments such as camera, production, and direction. Then I started with the world of cinema which is where I wanted to get and I was part of several Colombian movies like “La Mariposa” “Detective Marañon” “el Paseo” among others.
I spent several years of my life living my dream come true until life twisted me and I arrived in Miami in 2015 with many uncertainties but the desire to move forward and continue doing what I loved. The first year was difficult because as any immigrant arriving to a new place where no one knows you, makes you go through difficult times but I never lost hope to return to be on a set. And that’s how after knocking on many doors and receiving many Nos, I arrived in the world of music videos, a fascinating world that began to involve me and to understand that everything can be possible.
After never giving up and with the unconditional help of my husband, who is always my right hand, I started to produce several videos for great artists such as Yandel, Maluma, J Balvin, Gloria Trevi, Nicky Jam, Rauw Alejandro, Gilberto Santa Rosa, David Bisbal, Luis Fonsi, Future and many more. I moved to Los Angeles where I had the opportunity to live for 2 years, produce reports and documentaries of real stories, and work in the world of social media, I began to open my spectrum as a producer in the United States.
After returning to Miami, I opened my production company with my husband called “Le Producers” which to this day continues to provide production services throughout the United States for major artists, record labels, and directors.
That is how I became what I am today, always with the guidance of God, my family, and my husband.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Throughout my career, I have always had ups and downs, but undoubtedly the hardest was to arrive in a country where nobody knows you, they speak another language, the monopoly of the audiovisual media is closed and you practically have to start from scratch, but I saw it as an opportunity to show me that if I could become who I wanted to be.

Le Producers is a creative production company; that specializes in helping artists and companies, tell the world a story with images and experiences.
Our goal is to create from scratch an entertaining experience for our clients. Working together as a team from pre-production through the post-production process, gathering information, and managing budgets regarding their needs.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting?
The best advice I can give to those who are just starting is to never stop pursuing your dreams and whatever makes you happy, and whatever you do give 100% and do it from the heart that is the key to success.
