Today we’d like to introduce you to Andre Weliky
Hi Andre, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey with the 4-95 Boca Car Wash began 16 years ago when my family and I took over the business, which has been a staple in Boca Raton since 1962. From the start, we were committed to maintaining the strong reputation the car wash had earned over the decades while also bringing our own vision and passion to the table.
The car wash industry is one where customer satisfaction is everything, and we quickly learned the importance of delivering high-quality service consistently. We invested in the latest technologies to ensure efficiency and quality, but also emphasized the personal touch. We wanted every customer to feel valued and well taken care of, which is why we made sure our services were not just thorough, but also affordable.
Alongside building the business, it was important for us to stay deeply connected to the community. We began supporting various local charities and organizations, including the Boca Raton Little League, Boca Helps Ukraine, Sweet Dream Makers, and the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, among others. It’s been incredibly rewarding to see the positive impact we’ve been able to make, both through our business and our community involvement.
Today, the 4-95 Boca Car Wash continues to thrive as a family-run business. We’re proud to be known for our Full Service wash, where we take care of everything for the customer—from washing and waxing to detailing and paint correction—all at a great price. It’s been a fulfilling journey, and we’re excited to continue serving the Boca Raton community for years to come.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Owning the 4-95 Boca Car Wash for the past 16 years has certainly had its challenges. About ten years into our ownership, we were hit by a check fraud scheme that cost us around $20,000. It was a significant financial setback, and it shook us at the time. However, it also taught us valuable lessons about vigilance and the importance of implementing more stringent financial controls. We were able to recover and move forward, but it was a tough period for our family and the business.
More recently, the impact of inflation has been particularly challenging. As a labor-intensive business, we’ve felt the pressure of rising costs across the board—from wages to supplies. Keeping our services affordable while ensuring fair compensation for our team has required careful balancing. We’ve had to become more efficient, explore new technologies, and find ways to streamline our processes without compromising the quality of service that our customers expect.
These challenges have tested us, but they’ve also made us stronger and more adaptable. Each obstacle has reinforced our commitment to the business and the community we serve. We’ve learned to navigate the tough times with resilience and creativity, and that’s something I’m proud of.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about 4-95 BOCA CAR WASH?

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Networking and finding the right resources have been crucial to the success of our business. One of the best resources I’ve found is the Facebook group ‘Talk Car Wash.’ It’s a community of car wash professionals who are always willing to share advice, insights, and support. Whether you’re dealing with equipment issues or looking for recommendations, it’s a great place to connect with others who understand the industry and are eager to help.
Attending car wash trade shows, like the ones in Las Vegas and Nashville, has also been incredibly valuable. These events bring together the best minds in the industry, showcase the latest equipment, and offer classes on everything from marketing to detailing. It’s an excellent opportunity to learn from experts, discover new technologies, and connect with other professionals who are just as passionate about the business as you are.
My advice for finding a mentor or building a strong network is to be proactive and open to learning. Seek out communities or groups that align with your industry, like ‘Talk Car Wash,’ and don’t be afraid to ask questions or share your experiences. Trade shows and industry events are also fantastic for meeting people face-to-face, which can lead to lasting relationships and valuable mentorships.
The key is to stay engaged and curious. The more you put yourself out there and connect with others, the more you’ll learn and grow. Networking isn’t just about finding people who can help you; it’s also about building mutually beneficial relationships where you can support and learn from each other.”
