Hi Alison, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi Hidden Gems!
I actually acquired this business through speaking with the original owner and crafter of Mythical Herbs ~ Jojo. He had moved to Ecuador, and was having a difficult time running his business from out of the country, so we made a deal and I recently became the new owner of Mythical Herbs!! I’m pretty new to being a business owner, but I feel more than capable as he’s shared all of the recipes, blends and mythical ways. I find that we sell really interesting products, including an herbal blend that’s used for lucid dreaming! It’s been a process but so far I’m happy with this business and looking forward to growing it even further!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
So far I’m dealing with a few of the growing pains, including having a shipment stuck in customs for 2 months! Right now I’m back with all of my products in stock. I’ve also had the payment processor deny me because my site listed kava, which is totally legal, so there are lots of little obstacles that I’m learning to navigate.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Absolutely! As I said, I’ve only recently acquired the brand, however I’ve come to love it. They specialize in herbal blends, some are energizing, but most are relaxing. I even have a client who orders the blue lotus every 2 weeks because it has helped her anxiety so much, she no longer gets panic attacks with it! So cool that I can actually help people, and enjoy what I do. That’s probably what I’m most proud of. I’m still new so I’m sure the list will grow, but I would love the readers to check out the store and see if there are products that could help them out!
Another thing I’m working on, but it hasn’t come out yet, is an herbal blend for the ladies to help with PMS/cramping. It’s still in testing and not for sale, but I’m excited to do this as I know it’s a very common issue and I would really love to help women live a more comfortable life. I’m really hopeful for that, but for now, we carry many herbs that help with relaxation, mood, and lucid dreaming. I also have a nootropic that can be used for natural motivation and clean energy. These all work great, and I’d love for more people to know about them!

The original owner did not use any social media or advertising, so I am starting new here. I’m gong to be running some deals soon, now that the products are back in stock and the holidays are coming up.
