Today we’d like to introduce you to Adriana Flores.
Hi Adriana, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Before launching The Wonder Cycle, I worked as a social worker in the ICU, supporting families through some of the most vulnerable and emotional moments of their lives. That work deeply shaped me. It taught me how meaningful experiences are and how much small moments of lightness matter during heavy seasons.
After years in that environment, I felt called to build something centered on joy instead of crisis. I wanted to create experiences that bring people together in celebration. Weddings, baby showers, corporate events, and birthday parties, the milestones that mark life in beautiful ways.
The Wonder Cycle was born from that vision. I didn’t just want to offer dessert. I wanted to design an experience that felt whimsical, upscale, and intentional. Every detail, from the styling of the bike to the flavor curation is thoughtfully considered to create an interactive moment guests remember long after the event ends.
Today, The Wonder Cycle partners with venues across Miami and Broward and serves as a preferred vendor for several event spaces. What began as a leap of faith has grown into a brand rooted in celebration, connection, and thoughtfully crafted experiences.
At its core, this business honors life’s joyful milestones, something I value deeply after witnessing how precious those moments truly are.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road but I don’t think meaningful businesses are built that way.
Transitioning from a stable career into entrepreneurship required a major mindset shift. In Social Work, the structure is built in. In business, you create the structure yourself. There’s uncertainty, risk, and a constant need to problem solve.
One of the biggest challenges was learning how to position The Wonder Cycle not just as a dessert option, but as a premium experience. In the event industry especially, perception matters. I had to be intentional about branding, partnerships, and how I communicated my value so that venues and clients saw it as an elevated addition to their celebration.
There were also the personal challenges that come with building something from the ground up like self-doubt, financial risk, and the patience required to let momentum build.
But every challenge refined the brand. It pushed me to be strategic, resilient, and clear about my vision. I’ve learned that growth rarely feels comfortable, but it’s often a sign you’re moving in the right direction.
We’ve been impressed with The Wonder Cycle, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Wonder Cycle is a whimsical, upscale popsicle catering experience designed for weddings, corporate gatherings, baby showers, and celebrations that deserve something a little unexpected.
At first glance, it’s a beautifully styled vintage-inspired tricycle serving handcrafted popsicles. But what we really offer is a moment, the kind where guests pause, smile, take a photo, and feel like they’ve stepped into something playful yet thoughtfully designed.
We specialize in blending nostalgia with sophistication. There’s something universally joyful about a popsicle, but when it’s presented in a curated, event-ready format, it transforms into an interactive experience. Our flavor selections are intentional, our presentation is polished, and the tricycle itself is designed to feel like part of the décor, not an afterthought.
We’re known for seamless execution and thoughtful partnerships with venues across Miami and Broward. Being selected as a preferred vendor at multiple event spaces has been something I’m incredibly proud of. Not just as a milestone, but as a reflection of the trust we’ve built within the industry.
Brand wise, I’m most proud that The Wonder Cycle feels intentional. It feels cohesive. It feels elevated. From the first inquiry to the final guest served, we aim to create something that feels easy, memorable, and beautifully integrated into the celebration.
I want readers to know that we’re here for the hosts who want to surprise their guests, who care about the details, and who believe celebrations should feel both magical and intentional.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
One of my favorite childhood memories is playing Lotería with my family every Friday night. Each card cost ten cents and I remember the excitement of listening closely as the cards were called, hoping I would win. Every now and then, I’d win and take home a few dollars, which felt like a fortune at the time.
But what made those nights unforgettable wasn’t the prize. It was the ritual. The sound of laughter around the table, the smell of home cooked food, the playful competitiveness, and the feeling of being completely present with the people I loved.
Those evenings showed me how powerful shared experiences can be. How something thoughtfully created, even something simple, can bring people together in a way that lingers long after the night ends.
