Good morning erik, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? Are you walking a path—or wandering?
As I switched from a marketing career to Photography 26 years ago (never regretting following my heart) I am definitely walking a path
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am fascinated by nature, with its romantic beauty and it’s overwhelming power. My first series Supercell was about large rotating storms in the U.S. As a follow up to this series I am now working on a new project called Remote. Again overwhelming landscapes but with a house in it representing a small human element
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My dad was an avid photographer. When I was a kid he learned me to develop pictures in his darkroom.
I started working as a marketing guy in advertising agencies. After 12 years of marketing I switched career to Photography. My dad was quite proud 🙂
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Follow your dreams

Yes, as I am living my passion the images I create are from the heart

I hope people will appreciate the beauty and power of nature I try to capture
