Dr. Nikkie Pryce of Fort Lauderdale on Life, Lessons & Legacy

Dr. Nikkie Pryce shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Hi Nikkie, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
What makes me lose track of time and find myself again is spending some much-needed alone time at a pool, preferably in a beautiful area or at a hotel that I love. I sit by the water, lounging and enjoying the moment as time seems to fly by. Being near water brings me peace, happiness, and joy. It gives me a sense of calm that I am often desiring to experience.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
A little bit about me. My name is Dr. Nikkie Pryce. I am a social media visibility strategist, women’s empowerment speaker, business consultant, and seven-time bestselling author. I help high-performing women gain visibility, influence, and income online. I am also an licensed chaplain and ordained pastor.

What makes my story unique is my belief that women who have a voice can confidently own their influence, show up boldly online, and be unapologetic about earning from their gifts. I discovered this truth even more deeply after moving to Paris less than a year ago. My social media influence grew almost overnight, not because I tried to be perfect, but because I chose to be transparent about my journey.

At that time, I was experiencing deep burnout and searching for peace. The move was my reset. It reminded me that vulnerability and honesty are powerful tools for transformation. When we show up authentically, whether online or in our daily lives, we create impact. We connect with people who are not looking for perfection, but for something real. And that, to me, is what true influence looks like.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
The relationship that truly helped shape me and allowed me to see myself more clearly was my relationship with Christ. When I gave my life to the Lord in my twenties while I was in college, it was one of the most powerful seasons of my life. For the first time, I began to understand who I was and what I had to offer the world.

That revelation came through scripture, through learning what God said about me in His word. It was a time of deep discovery and healing. The more I read, the more I realized how loved and valued I truly was. All I had to do was believe, and when I did, everything within me began to change. That experience grounded me, affirmed me, and gave me the confidence to walk boldly in my purpose.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
The time I almost gave up was about a year and a half ago when I went through a season of deep burnout. Everything in my life was happening so fast. My business was growing, doors were opening, and I was speaking, preaching, and pouring into others nonstop. I didn’t realize that in giving so much of myself to everyone else, I had nothing left for me.

It was more than mental exhaustion. It was spiritual fatigue. I reached a point where I did not just feel like giving up—I actually did. I felt like I gave up on God, on my purpose, and on the people I was called to serve. It was one of the hardest times in my life.

Paris became my reset. It was my do-over, my new beginning. That move gave me the space to breathe again, to find peace, and to rebuild from the inside out. During that season, I often felt alone. I shared my story on my YouTube channel, The Daughters Table, where I spoke about my experience with burnout and the lessons that came from it.

Even though I felt completely knocked down, that season reminded me that I could rise again. It took time, healing, and grace, but I eventually found my strength. Looking back, I see that chapter not as failure, but as part of my growth. It was the breaking that led to my rebuilding, and it shaped the woman I am today.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
The public version of me is definitely a part of who I am, but it is not the full picture. In real life, I am very playful. I love to dance, laugh, and bring joy to every room I enter. On social media, people often see me as a powerful, confident woman, and while that is true, it only shows a layer of my personality.

Social media captures a glimpse of me, not the entirety of who I am. For some people, what they show online may not reflect who they are at all. For me, it reflects a real part of me, just not the whole story. When you are around me in person, you see the warmth, the humor, and the lighthearted side that does not always appear on screen.

I think that is the beauty of authenticity. There are layers to who we are, and I honor every one of mine. The strong, driven woman online and the playful, loving woman in person are both me. They coexist, and together they tell my full story.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What will you regret not doing?
If I could name one thing I regret, it would be not living every day of my life with full audacity and boldness. I have learned that it is so important to be completely yourself, to stand strong in who you are, and to move through life with courage.

Audacity changes everything. It shapes how you show up, how you connect with others, and how you walk into new spaces. Even in first encounters, when you lead with confidence and authenticity, it leaves an unforgettable impression.

My goal now is to continue living boldly, to keep taking courageous steps, and to never shrink back from the fullness of who I am. Every day is another opportunity to live audaciously and inspire others to do the same.
