Today we’d like to introduce you to Tracie Samara.
Hi Tracie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Vegetarian 30 years, holistic, meditation, and needed a website to help the locals, find the businesses and events that support a Healthy Lifestyle.
In 2006 I was badly botched, after winning a supposed non-invasive facial rejuvenation, and spent the next decade, with many surgeries to remove the facial deformities it caused. During that time, I co-created, The Downtown Full Moon Party, and celebrated each month, with others (my age) “The Beauty Within” a Spiritual Gathering of Souls! In realizing the many Local Talented Vendors and People looking for a higher love and life!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s difficult, not being tech savvy, my business partner passed away almost 2 years ago from Covid, and I’m left with a Facebook page, Miami Green Guide, and hope to use it to do “interviews and reviews,” of the many vendors who need to be seen!
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I have a lot of great ideas, but unfortunately being alone with a high school education and limited on how to make them work, I feel in my heart, is a necessity as over a million vegetarians and vegans live within our cities and that sets us and me apart, in trying to find, others who are like-minded.
My adult daughter is also disabled with a rare disorder and it held me back a bit, as I navigate a lot of medical appointments and it takes up my time. Miami Green Guide is my Vibe! (I’m 60).
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Destiny is either one at any time, and there are no coincidences…as “one action leads to another” it’s called Destiny Karma, and I’m following mine, one step at a time…still stepping.
