Daily Inspiration: Meet Susana Perez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Susana Perez.

Susana , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I was born in Medellín, Colombia, and studied marketing and advertising. Later on, I moved to the United States to continue my education.
After spending several years working in hospitality and management, a good friend invited me to join his team. At first, I wasn’t sure if event production was truly my passion, but once I saw the project and everything behind it, I realised I had found exactly what I had been looking for.
It’s been over five years now working with Video And Motion, creating and producing events that have filled me with pride and joy. This journey has taken me across the U.S. and even internationally creating experiences that have been incredibly meaningful both professionally and personally.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Its never a smooth road but definitely worth it. I think growing with the business in general has been scary but exciting at the same time. Since every day brings new challenges.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m an event producer at Video And Motion. we specialise in touring/Live shows, projection mapping, laser shows, and immersive event experiences.

What I love most about my work is how it brings technology and creativity together to create moments people never forget.

One of the projects I’m most proud of was producing my very first concert tour. it was for a Latin artist from my hometown in Colombia, performing across the United States. It was a 14-city tour filled with long hours, passion, and constant learning. That experience helped shape me into the producer I am today and prepared me for the larger concerts and events that we now produce.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
people are often surprised to learn that, despite working in such high-energy, large-scale productions, I’m actually a pretty introverted person in my personal life. I love quiet moments.
