Today we’d like to introduce you to Supa Twitch
Hi Supa, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started my career in 1988 in East Kingston Jamaica on a sound system called SUPERSONIC from there I joined another sound system from east Kingston called BLACK STONE IN 1990.
By 1991 I migrated to NYC and was blessed enough to join the biggest sound system in America Afrique SoundStation. This was my big break as I was touring the world with this legendary sound system. In 2001 I moved to Florida and started my solo career as SUPA TWITCH and made a name for myself in Miami and the surrounding areas. In 2005 I started my own sound system called SUPA SOUND.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Nothing great in life comes easy….
As the songs says “life is one big road with lots of signs” and with that they are “ups n downs”.
The strong will continue….

Supa Twitch is one of dancehall/reggae’s most dynamic selectors/DJ.
What I’m most proud of is my longevity and that in itself sets me apart from others.
36 years and counting.
To date I’ve featured in 4 movies with my latest a Movie “UNBELIEVABLE”

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
The weather and the weather.
Sunshine and rainfall at the same time.
But for the most part I love South Florida for the melting pot of cultures that exists here.
