Today we’d like to introduce you to Rima Vaidya
Hi Rima, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born and raised in London, England. When I was 14 years old my parents my sister and I relocated to Miami, Florida where my story really begins.
I’ve always had a vivid imagination. I’m unique and expressive and never seemed to fit into a certain “category,” instead, I have always gone against the grain.
I didn’t really choose to become an “influencer”. I freedive and would post unique underwater content which gained me a decent following on Instagram.
I had always favored instagram over other apps. I love photography and have always been creative. Instagram allows me to express myself exactly as I want to. I find so much joy from seeing people enjoy the world through my eyes.
My diving content was just the tip of the iceberg and the videos I create for pure pleasure became more of a lifestyle. I already documented everything, so I just started posting more and getting noticed.
Since September 2022 I’ve successfully worked with over 300 different brands and companies.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
With any job comes challenges and I definitely have my fair share. I am constantly learning everyday and wouldn’t change a thing about my journey so far.
One Struggle I face is Time management
I want to be as interactive as possible and I genuinely care and read what everybody says. However if I were to respond to every comment I would literally have no time to make new content. Being a content creator is time consuming, but before anything else I am a mom, and I take that job very seriously.
I have to make sure EVERYDAY I am being productive, because Instagram never sleeps. 😉
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a lifestyle influencer with a unique style. For the most part, I create content for fashion and beauty brands however I don’t limit myself there.
I work remotely for a Mortgage company allowing me to travel frequently, I love learning and sharing my experiences.
I am a Level 3 Molchonovz Freediver and a Black Belt in Shotokan Karate.
One of my favorite pastimes is swimming with Sharks.
