Today we’d like to introduce you to Richard Clement.
Hi Richard , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Born in Paris many years ago, Richard Clement has lived a life defined by exploration, curiosity, and reinvention. He has traveled extensively — across nearly every corner of the globe — and practiced medicine in Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, South America, and the Pacific. Along this remarkable journey, he became a medical lecturer, contributed to the creation of innovative nutritional medications, and played a key role in the marketing of medical devices.
Later, Richard discovered a passion for writing and storytelling. He has authored four books:
Latin Fiancée Visa – A personal and candid account of his second, short-lived marriage.
The South African Virus Conspiracy – A provocative fiction exploring science, politics, and race.
Jean Pierre Labaguette for U.S. President – A political satire about a French chef who unexpectedly becomes the President of the United States under the slogan “In Food We Trust.”
Jean Pierre Labaguette and the Narco President – A humorous adventure following Jean Pierre from the Caribbean to Colombia, where he becomes a reluctant drug smuggler and advisor to a narco-turned-president.
Richard’s life journey has given him a sharp, sarcastic, and humorous vision of the world, which he shares with open-minded readers. He is married to Diviana, a talented Venezuelan singer, and currently lives in Miami, where he is developing a feature film project based on his literary work.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Two failed marriages . challenging work ventures and witness of a society falling apart.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Working in Africa, starting Medical Practice in the Caribbean, becoming a corporate executive in a Drug manufacturer company from Germany, creating my own Nutritional line, partnering with a Medical Device manufacturer and promoting them in many countries.
