Daily Inspiration: Meet Matthew Lee

Today we’d like to introduce you to Matthew Lee.

Hi Matthew, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started Pee Perfect Notary 305 out of both purpose and passion. The name itself is deeply personal — it’s a tribute to my daughter, lovingly nicknamed “Pee.” She’s at the heart of everything I do, and I wanted to build something that reflected the same love, precision, and reliability I give to my family.

With a background in technology and administration, I saw an opportunity to modernize the notary space by blending trust, tech, and accessibility. Whether it’s real estate, legal, or personal documents, people deserve notarization that’s secure, convenient, and stress-free. That vision became Pee Perfect Notary 305.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like many entrepreneurs, the first challenge was simply awareness — letting people know that notarization doesn’t have to mean waiting in long lines at a bank or office. Educating the community on remote online notarization and mobile notary services has been key.

Another challenge was balancing the technical side of building a compliant, secure platform with the personal side of serving families and businesses. But those challenges have been the biggest teachers they pushed me to innovate and stay resilient.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
In my professional life, I’m known for blending technology, administration, and client service into everything I do. Before founding Pee Perfect Notary 305, I built a strong background in technology and systems administration, which gave me the skills to create secure, efficient, and reliable digital processes. That technical foundation allows me to bring innovation into the notary industry, from remote online notarizations to modern document management.

I am know for first and foremost for being a present and loving father. Your daughter is not only your inspiration but also the reason behind the name “Pee Perfect.

What I’m most proud of is being a father and building Pee Perfect Notary as a legacy for my daughter. The name itself comes from her nickname, “Pee,” and everything I do is rooted in showing her what’s possible when you work with love, purpose, and resilience.

As a Black and Costa Rican father, representation matters to me. I want my daughter to see that her father not only built a business from the ground up, but did it with integrity and culture at the center. Pee Perfect Notary isn’t just about notarization it’s about proving to her, and to others in my community, that we can create something lasting, meaningful, and ours.

What sets me apart from other notaries is that Pee Perfect Notary isn’t just a service it’s a purpose-driven business built out of love for my daughter. I carry the responsibility of being a Black and Costa Rican father into everything I do, which means I represent more than myself. I represent family, community, and culture every time I serve a client.

On a professional level, I also set myself apart by blending technology with a personal touch. Many notaries treat it as a transaction, but I focus on making the process simple, accessible, and stress-free. With secure remote notarization, flexible hours, and genuine care, my clients know they can trust me not just with their documents, but with the moments in life that matter most.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
omething surprising that many people don’t know about me is that before starting Pee Perfect Notary, I built my career in technology and systems administration. That background is what allows me to bring innovation, security, and efficiency into my notary work today.

Another thing people might not know is that the name “Pee Perfect” comes from my daughter’s nickname. What looks like just a brand name is actually a tribute to her and a reminder of why I do this work. I also wanted to show the next generation you can basically become and do anything you want with hard work and dedication. I love being able to assist and help people in their time of need.
