Today we’d like to introduce you to Marion Grosjean.
Hi Marion, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Former French journalist and TV presenter, novelist, mother of three, and wife of Romain Grosjean (the Formula 1 driver who miraculously survived in Bahrain!), I have been living for four years in the country where my husband continues his career.
Drawing on all these experiences, I naturally turned to life coaching, and made it my profession!
The goal isn’t to dig through the mind like an archaeologist to understand how one gots here, but rather to act as an architect, ready to build the future. So, I earned a state diploma, and thanks to my dual cultural background, I enhance my work as a certified life coach with a blend of both European and American techniques. It’s truly an asset!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey wasn’t easy. First, I had to stay strong during my husband’s accident—a story that made headlines around the world, and for good reason! For several minutes, I truly believed I was a widow. Then, after we rebuilt our lives, we moved across the ocean, and I had to reinvent myself! With three young children, I needed to find new meaning in my life. That’s why I decided to go back to school and earned my life coach certification.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
As a certified life coach, I help people achieve the goals they set in their personal and professional lives, or both. I firmly believe that happiness isn’t a destination—it’s the journey we travel on every day. That’s what I learned from elite sports, as well as from my husband’s accident and our experience living abroad. To help you overcome your fears, my background in journalism enables me to ask the right questions and get straight to the heart of your challenges. Then, together, we create a concrete, detailed, and time-bound action plan to ensure your success.
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
Coaching is also crucial within a company. An organization needs its staff to be operating at 100% capacity to move forward with confidence. For example, I work on helping people overcome imposter syndrome.
I love this quote from Albert Einstein: ‘If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing it is stupid.’ I am convinced that everyone holds within themselves the key to thrive. I am happy to help find it!
