Hi Marija, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Rakija Lounge is very specific place , where all Balkans people get together , celebrate the tradition and culture.
We are located in the heart of Miami Beach , and the restourant Rakija Lounge was open in 2016.
Past 10 years , restourant is place where all local residents get together every day either for lunch , dinner or celebrate special event.Rakija Lounge is destination for all the Balkans that are coming from other States or from other continents.
This is a place where the caltural and tradition leave and make us proud.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We are specialized in Balkan food and all the recipes are from grand mom,
Recipes were made with products that are in USA, re-creating and adapting the recipes with USA products was challenge process.across the years success came.every single feed back from the guest was welcome. And taking as a consideration , recipes are stable and well liked. Guest enjoying and proud to show the Balkan cuisine when they have some visitors or show to others our traditional food.

I have Been as a General
manager of Rakija Hospitality since 2018.
Rakija Hospitality , is developing every day. Im happy and proud with my job. We have established 3 well success restourant all in Miami Beach with different concept . I fell comfortable and happy , with what Im doing . Experience of 30 years being in Restourants ( hospitality ) is a long time and brings great results.
