Daily Inspiration: Meet Maria Paula Casas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maria Paula Casas

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey began with a deep passion for bringing people together and creating meaningful moments. After moving to the U.S. during the pandemic, I found myself exploring new ways to channel my creativity. I started with something simple yet profound—creating nut butters that reflected my commitment to clean, wholesome ingredients. This experience taught me the power of thoughtful craftsmanship and sparked a desire to expand into new ventures.

As a life and wellness coach, I focused on helping people nurture their well-being, offering coaching sessions, nutrition classes, and workshops. These experiences naturally aligned with my love for designing spaces and events that nourish both the body and soul. Over the years, I’ve worked with incredible brands like Nike Wellness Collective, Better Me Movement, and Crate and Barrel, creating events and spaces that foster connection and joy.

This journey inspired me to establish Plenah, my platform for crafting dream gatherings. From birthdays to intimate family celebrations, I’ve brought clients’ visions to life by uniting art, live music, and thoughtful design. Whether it’s wellness workshops, beautifully decorated tables, or heartfelt floral arrangements, my work is about sparking joy, bringing people closer, and creating moments that leave lasting memories.

Today, Plenah represents a culmination of everything I love—helping others, embracing creativity, and curating experiences that resonate deeply with people’s hearts.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
t hasn’t been a smooth road—there have been moments of doubt where I’ve questioned whether this is truly the path I want to take. But in those moments, something magical always seems to happen—a small success, a kind word, or a beautiful event that reminds me why I’m so passionate about what I do. Those moments shift my mindset from negative to positive and give me the strength to keep going.

Running my own business has taught me that challenges are part of the process, no matter the size of the venture. Having worked with large corporations, I’ve seen firsthand that even big, established brands face their own struggles. That’s been a valuable lesson for me—no matter how big or small your business is, challenges are inevitable. The key is to keep going, keep showing up, and stay focused on what you love.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Plenah, specializes in creating meaningful gatherings and spaces that bring people closer together. My work ranges from life and wellness coaching to designing unforgettable events and crafting personalized experiences. Whether it’s a wellness events, a beautifully decorated table for a special celebration, or a custom birthday celebration for your loves ones, my focus is always on sparking joy and connection.

I’m proud of the way my work combines creativity and purpose. I’ve been able to turn my visions into reality. What sets me apart is my ability to blend thoughtful design with an understanding of what truly matters to people—moments that create lasting memories.

What I’m most proud of is the impact my work has on people. Seeing the joy on a client’s face when their dream event comes to life, or hearing how a coaching session has helped someone overcome a challenge, fuels my passion every day. My ability to create not just events but experiences that nourish the heart and soul is what truly defines my work.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
The COVID-19 crisis taught me the importance of adaptability and finding purpose in the unexpected. Like many, I faced uncertainty and challenges, but it was during this time that I discovered new ways to connect with people and bring value to their lives.

It was in the midst of the pandemic that I created my first line of nut butters—a project born out of a desire to craft something meaningful and nourishing. This experience reminded me that even in difficult times, there’s room for creativity and growth.

I also learned that human connection is more important than ever. Whether through small gatherings, wellness workshops, or coaching sessions, I saw how deeply people craved meaningful interactions. It inspired me to focus my work on fostering those connections and creating spaces where people could feel supported, loved, and inspired.

Perhaps the most important lesson was realizing the power of resilience. The pandemic reminded me that challenges are temporary, but the impact we have on others through kindness, creativity, and connection can last a lifetime.
