Today we’d like to introduce you to Letitia Rivers.
Hi Letitia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
Let me begin by sharing the journey God took me through in Birthing My Greatness! I was 17 years old when I met a man 10 years my senior, who eventually became my husband and the father of both my children.
After 20 years of marriage I realized I was in a relationship wherein I was being manipulated and controlled. Not only was I unhappy I was also lost. It was then that I decided to end the marriage. Never did I imagine making this decision would be a life changing decision in the manner that it was.
When my marriage ended so did the paternal relationship I had become accustomed to with my two children. I experienced a traumatic divorce and custody battle for over 2 years! Months and eventually years went by without me seeing nor talking with my children by way of manipulation and control!
This new journey of my life, birthed an Author, Purpose Coach,Entrepreneur,Inspirational/Motivational Speaker and Advocate for Women . The advocacy is a outlet for women whose experienced traumatic divorces and custody battles, as well as a ministry that helps women in Birthing Their Greatness and Living on Purpose!
During the transitioning period in my life a podcast was also birthed that affords a platform for people from all different walks of life to join together and share their test that became testimonies and trials that became triumphs in hopes to help someone across the same troubled waters I’ve traveled.
TALK IT OUT WITH Letitia Rivers, is a space that assist with releasing that thing that keeps one bound to their pass mistakes or have never disconnected from the familiar place that keeps them from discovering what’s on the other side of life. I’m now in college getting my bachelor’s in biblical theology. My storms were ordained in the BIRTH OF MY GREATNESS!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No. It hasn’t been a smooth road. Anything that is great has obstacles and huge challenges. I’ve had to live with my mother, friends and even resort to seeking out a roommate. Then there’s the battle with the lost relationship with my children and let’s not forget this is all while building self-worth and battling with identity crisis!!! LEARNING TO LOVE MYSELF haven’t been an easy journey!

The fact that I love connecting people together personally and professionally and the authenticity behind it. Seeing people succeed genuinely makes me happy and I have no expectations in return.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
First and foremost trusting in God and having a solid foundation and standing firm on my beliefs. In conjunction with the above True Authenticity and the Love for People.
