Today we’d like to introduce you to Laelanie Larach
Hi Laelanie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’m an artist based in Miami and originally born in Honduras; a beautiful country located in Central America that gave me a lot of inspiration behind my artistic career. At a young age I began creating imaginary landscapes with surreal jungles, waterfalls and many other designs related to our natural surroundings, hand painted with oils on canvas. At that age I knew that my life would be attached to the arts, therefore I decided to follow my goals and continue creating colorful paintings with bright colors that I like using while painting, many of the paintings are coastal with blue oceans and sunsets spinning in circles around palm trees or butterflies flying inside a beautiful colorful sky of dreams.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has been an interesting road, sometimes you have good times and other days not so good. I never gave up on my dream and goals that I have achieved with a lot of perseverance.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I love creating original oil paintings with bright bold colors such as deep blue, turquoise, pink, magenta and other combinations that I used in my artwork. Most of my paintings have a coastal and contemporary design inspired by the beauty of our natural surroundings such as oceans moving inside a colorful landscape with palm trees and butterflies flying under a blue sky of dreams.
I been proud that my artwork has been part of Art Basel and right now I was chosen by Life Time Miami Marathon to design the medal ribbon for 2025, I created a special painting for the design, the artwork is posted on my website with all the details.
What are your plans for the future?
I will continue painting and following my goals!
