Daily Inspiration: Meet Katsiaryna Asipik

Today we’d like to introduce you to Katsiaryna Asipik.

Hi Katsiaryna, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started doing floral design in Minsk, where I built a small business making custom arrangements and styling events, even when times were tough. Then I moved to the US—first New York, then Miami—and had to start over, taking freelance work on weddings, corporate events, and large installations while growing my own business at the same time.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it definitely hasn’t been smooth—there were plenty of tough moments.
The biggest challenge came four years ago when I moved from New York to Miami and had to build everything from scratch in a new city. I faced constant networking, adapting to different client expectations and seasonal demands, plus figuring out local suppliers and logistics on my own. Staying persistent through rejections and trial-and-error helped me earn spots on high-end projects with leading companies.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I run a floral design business specializing in custom arrangements, event styling, and immersive installations for weddings, corporate events, and luxury occasions—alongside selective freelance gigs for top clients to keep things sustainable. I’m known for my clean, modern aesthetic blending unexpected textures like succulents with bold blooms, creating precise, story-driven pieces that transform spaces.
What sets me apart is delivering that personal, polished touch whether through my own business or high-profile projects, always with an outsider’s fresh eye on details. I’m most proud of growing my business into a go-to for memorable, client-loved installs that spark rave reviews and repeat work, even while freelancing to fuel its expansion.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
I never planned to move to Miami—it happened by pure chance. But now I absolutely love it; it’s my favorite city hands down and I’m so glad it worked out this way. What I like best is the constant inspiration from the ocean and being outdoors so often; it fuels my creativity, turning every design into something vibrant and alive with that natural energy.
The mix of cultures, endless sunshine, and beachy vibe also make it perfect for my work—nothing beats brainstorming floral concepts with waves crashing nearby. Least? The unpredictable rainy season can throw a wrench in outdoor shoots, but it never dims my enthusiasm for this place.
