Today we’d like to introduce you to Julieta Araujo.
Julieta, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I am a Colombian woman who grew up in a home where women were a true example of strength and perseverance. From a young age, I witnessed how they fought for their dreams, facing any obstacle with courage and determination. That inspiration led me to make the decision to come to the United States through a program to be a nanny, with the firm intention of pursuing my own dreams.
That first step not only allowed me to discover a country full of challenges but also helped me realize my passion for content creation. Little by little, I transformed my experience into a space to inspire other women and girls to believe in themselves and fight for what they want. Today, I continue working to strengthen that voice and show that, with dedication and effort, dreams can be built, no matter the barriers.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Coming to the United States through an au pair program was a major change in my life—from leaving my family in Colombia to facing a completely new country with a different language and culture. However, each challenge became a driving force to grow and build something bigger.
Starting my journey in content creation also brought its own challenges: learning about social media, connecting with an audience, and building a personal brand while adapting to a new environment. There were moments of uncertainty and feeling like results didn’t come as quickly as I expected, but consistency and passion for what I do pushed me to keep going.
Additionally, balancing work, studies, and my personal projects hasn’t always been easy, but every effort has been worth it. Today, I can proudly say that those obstacles made me stronger and helped me value every achievement.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a content creator and social media advisor, specializing in inspiring women and migrants through my own experience as a Latina living in the United States. My focus is on sharing a real and motivating lifestyle, showing that it is possible to pursue dreams far from home, overcome obstacles, and grow in a new country.
What I am most proud of is having built an authentic community, where every video and every post is aimed at connecting, inspiring, and bringing value to those who follow me. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to advise others on their path to growing on social media, helping them build a strong and authentic personal brand.
What sets me apart is my ability to genuinely connect with my audience, showing not only the achievements but also the challenges and lessons behind each step. I firmly believe in transparency and the power of telling real stories because I know that through them, I can inspire others to keep moving forward.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My biggest advice for someone just starting out is: don’t stop, even when the results don’t come right away. Sometimes, when we begin a project, especially on social media, it’s easy to get discouraged if growth isn’t immediate. But I want you to know that every small step counts and that consistency will always be your best ally.
Something I wish I had understood earlier is that authenticity and real connection with people are more powerful than any trend. It’s not just about creating content, but about telling your story, being vulnerable, and genuine because that’s what truly connects.
Surround yourself with people who believe in you and your project, and remember to celebrate every achievement, no matter how small. The journey may be challenging, but if you are clear about your “why,” nothing will stop you.
