Hi Jayger, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
The Prime Cleaner started as a side hustle while I was working at Salesforce, I grew The Prime Cleaner to about 20k per month. Two years in, my Mom joined and thats when we really started to scale. We saw an opportunity to build something in Miami that actually treated clients and cleaning professionals with real respect, not just another faceless service. We started small, learned everything hands-on, and grew one five-star review at a time. Today we’ve completed over 9,000 cleanings across Miami, built a team of dedicated cleaning professionals, and were recently honored by Google as a featured business in their 2025 Economic Impact Report for the state of Florida. What started as a family idea became Miami’s most trusted residential cleaning company.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not even close. Building a service business from the ground up means you are the marketing team, the operations team, the HR department, and the customer service line – all at once. Early on we dealt with provider reliability issues, figuring out how to price correctly, and competing against companies with far bigger budgets. There were moments where we questioned everything. But every challenge pushed us to build better systems, hire more carefully, and get closer to our clients. The struggles are honestly what shaped the business into what it is today – a company with real processes, real culture, and real results.
