Hi Idialis, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Our brand was created during the medical recovery period in 2017. 1934 is the year our mother was born, SOAPCIETY because we can create soap for everyone. We use the cold process method, with blends of different oils, butters, flowers, grains, herbs powders, and other local products, which take six weeks of curation in order to be sold. Every soap batch is an adventure, a challenge, that makes a fascinating and interesting day. We are committed to bringing healthy soap for healthier skin. As a micro business, we are happy and thankful to be consistent during all these difficult times.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There are always some bumps on the road, like financial challenges and some losses when running this with out of the pocket money.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Our main product is the natural soap, to this we had included lip balms, sugar exfoliating, paper hand soap, among other personalized skin care products. We enjoy receiving special orders. Every scent created has a little story, for example, “Cecilia’s Soap” is inspired on our little niece, “1934” is a blend of scents launched in that year. Faith and Communication have been keys to keep up on this journey. We are truly thankful.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
Picking flowers to put in the bathtub and play bowling. – Deb
