Hi Hermann, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
“It all started in 2020, when I found myself on a frustrating search for a guitar strap that truly fit my needs. I wanted something reliable in leather, elegant in design, comfortable to wear, durable enough to last, and gentle enough for my collection guitars. After trying some of the most well-known and even most expensive straps on the market, I kept feeling like something was still missing.
That’s when I decided to create a strap of my own, one that felt like a work of art. We partnered with the finest leather craftsmen, and together we hand-built, stitch by stitch, the first straps that checked every single box. From there, we ran tests, listened closely to our customers, and applied the improvements they inspired, and that’s how Leather Straps Co was born.
Every strap is made one by one by our skilled artisans, offering something truly exquisite, unique, and exclusive. Our goal? To craft a strap built for a lifetime.”
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Sometimes our only struggle is the time, cause every strap is made one by one so it takes some time.

I’m the founder of Leather Straps Co., a boutique brand specializing in handcrafted premium leather guitar straps. We don’t do mass production, every single strap is made one by one by our skilled artisans, from the selection of the leathers, stitch by stitch, with the kind of attention to detail you’d expect from a fine leather goods house.
What we specialize in is the intersection of craftsmanship, function, and aesthetics. Our straps are designed for musicians who care deeply about their instruments, especially collectors and players who won’t settle for anything generic near their prized guitars.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
