Daily Inspiration: Meet Brie Boston

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brie Boston

Hi Brie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started off as a promo model and professional dancer as a teen. I was signed to a record label and then to a dance crew. These experiences got me out of my shell and provided a platform for me to express myself and build my talents/skills. At a young age I was able to model for some well known businesses and get my face out there. I went to college and focused on school for a while but found myself coming back to the industry. I built my following up in the Carolinas through social media.
After college, I moved to Chicago to start fresh and take modeling seriously. I ended up working on movie/ t.v. Sets as a background actor which allowed me some amazing opportunities to work with some of my favorite artists. Then the world shut down during the pandemic. Everything was at a standstill and I wasn’t sure of anything anymore. My apartment burnt down. I was feeling so lost that I went back to square one… creating. TikTok was blowing up so I decided to make an account and posted funny videos. It brought me light during such a dark and confusing time. Making videos helped me tap into my inner child. I got to be funny and goofy and build an organic community from scratch. I continued building on there and Instagram and grew my following to what it is today.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Social media popped up when I was a teenager. I saw the vision but didn’t have the knowledge or resources. Then I was a collage grad with no job and high student loans. I moved to Chicago for hopes of a better life. Being new to the city, I got most of my gigs through networking while I was out . I made decisions my family didn’t understand. I got a job in nightlife and on my off days, I worked on set for hours. At the peak of the pandemic, my neighbors caused my apartment to burn down and I woke up with no place to call home. I was crashing at places of friends, in and out of hotels, and trying to stay strong through it all. What kept me going was my faith in God and my passion for creating.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I call myself a Jaqueline of all trades. I have a background in modeling, acting, dancing, and body sculpting. Now I have transitioned to content creating. I do not feel that I have a niche but that I am the niche. I love posting content related to fashion, beauty, travel, lifestyle, and comedy. I have also ventured into digital products and social media management where I help others grow and learn how to monetize on social media.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I am a huge nerd. I love anime, history, science, and superheroes. I’m also a big kid at heart.
