Daily Inspiration: Meet Bre Manigat

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bre Manigat.

Hi Bre, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Bre Manigat Events started with my own wedding. I’d been doing makeup for a while and I loved it at first, but the moment it became a business, the joy walked right out the door. So I pivoted with consistent encouragement from my husband, Nehemy who is also a wedding photographer. When I started planning my own wedding, something just clicked. I was naturally good at the details, people kept noticing how organized everything was, and most importantly, I genuinely enjoyed every single part of it more than anything I’d done before. I got married in September 2024 and I launched Bre Manigat Events in February 2025 and haven’t looked back. I now offer full wedding planning, day-of coordination, and content creation services because I want my clients to have a seamless day and actually feel the gravity of their moment. The timelines, the vendor coordination, the behind-the-scenes chaos that guests never see, that’s my love language.
I’m still building, and I’m proud of that. But if planning my own wedding taught me anything, it’s that when something lights you up from the inside, it shows up in every single detail you deliver.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. I launched Bre Manigat Events while working full time, adjusting to life in a brand new state, far from everything and everyone I’d ever known, and settling into my first year of marriage. That means late nights, early mornings, and weekends that belong entirely to my clients. There’s no “off” button when you’re building something from scratch while still showing up for a 9-to-5. It’s a lot, and I won’t pretend otherwise.
Then there’s the credibility piece. Being new to both this industry and this city means you have to work twice as hard to earn trust that more established planners already have. Nobody hands you a reputation, you build it event by event, detail by detail. Every timeline executed flawlessly, every vendor managed without a hitch, every bride who exhales on her wedding day because everything just worked, that’s how I’ve been earning mine.
And if I’m being really transparent? Imposter syndrome definitely shows up often. There were moments where I questioned whether I was ready, whether people would take me seriously, whether I was moving too fast. But I kept going anyway. Because doubt is loud, but action is louder.
I’m still proving myself in a competitive industry and a new city. And I’m still choosing to show up every single day because if other people can do it, I can too.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Through Bre Manigat Events, I specialize in luxury wedding planning, coordination, and content creation right here in Miami. I manage everything from full start-to-finish planning to day-of coordination, making sure my couples can actually be present on their wedding day while I handle every single detail behind the scenes. The timelines, the vendors, the behind-the-scenes chaos that guests never see, that’s my lane. What I’m known for is being the planner who is calm, prepared, and two steps ahead at all times. My couples don’t have to worry because that’s literally my job. I take that responsibility seriously.

What I’m most proud of is building this from nothing, in a brand new city, while working full time. Every seamless moment my clients experience is the result of real work, real preparation, and a genuine investment in making their day unforgettable.

And what most people don’t expect is that I’m also an ASL interpreter. I’ve been involved in the Deaf community for over 12 years, starting as a volunteer out of genuine love long before it was ever a career. Both roles require the same thing at the core: showing up fully for people on days that matter. That thread runs through everything I do.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I’m actually pretty introverted. Yes, I’m the girl who coordinates high-energy weddings and events, manages rooms full of vendors, and keeps everything running seamlessly… needs peace and quiet to recharge. I just turn it on when it’s time to execute. The moment I walk into a venue, something switches. But the second that last guest leaves, I am home, in silence, unbothered, and completely at peace probably reading a book, playing a game, or watching one of my comfort shows.
