Today we’d like to introduce you to Alisa Meledy.
Hi Alisa, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
Hi, I am Alisa Photographer, Musician, Traveler, and many other things.
I was born in far and cold mother Russia but when I turned 22, I started traveling the world and never really stopped. That’s one of my biggest passions…one of many! I’ve been traveling non-stop for years: I lived in Japan, The States, and Mexico, visited over 20 countries, and met so many beautiful people from all over the world. I tried to capture their golden souls with my camera and share my music and stories with them and I found out that getting people together and finding the key to unlocking their unique essence through visuals and music is what truly resonates with me.
All my life, I thought I needed to choose one thing to be successful at, to become a master and make good money, but it always felt like I was going against my nature trying to do that. One day, I finally realized, that I don’t have to choose one, I can be all seven colors of my rainbow, cause that’s what makes me shine! I sing, I dance, I film, I act, I travel, I guide, I write I…do so many things that make me happy every day!
Let me share all or some of them with you, maybe help you find your passion or get your inspiration back!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I have to admit, I used to think something was wrong with me, I thought I needed to choose one passion in my life, one path, and follow it, improve myself in one thing to become a master and succeed.
But one day, I realized that all the colors of this rainbow called Alisa are beautiful and I gotta keep all of them cause they make me shine in the rainy sky. Every day, I juggle different types of work and I enjoy it so much! There’s no routine for me anymore because my success is not a destination but a process! So let me share the colors of my rainbow with you!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
So what do I mainly do nowadays? I organize retreats and tours in Mexico, Japan, and other countries helping people to feel happier and more like themselves cause I had my long path toward happiness.
– I do video and photo production for people and their businesses. I always admired films and loved capturing moments so I still do that now.
– Modeling/Acting. I like to be on both sides of the camera and love posing for people, it feels almost like dancing to me.
– I practice sound healing mainly using my voice, zen drum, and sound bowls. Singing is my second nature, I find it very therapeutic and try to share that healing energy with others.
– I teach yoga through private lessons and retreats. Yoga is life, that’s all I can say.
Whatever I do I do with love, I share my only pure energies and want to bring more beauty, harmony, and love into this world.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
