Today we’d like to introduce you to Adriana Ortega, Gigi Fonseca, and Juliana Uribe
Hi Adriana, Gigi, and Juliana, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today. You can include as little or as much detail as you’d like.
Honestly, it’s all happened pretty organically for us. At the heart of it, we love building community, hosting events with friends, shopping, dressing up — and just finding any excuse to be together. We started off as best friends, and that foundation has made all the difference. We definitely didn’t sit down with a five-year plan or a grand vision board. We just followed what felt right… and somehow, this little passion project of ours took on a life of its own. One year later, here we are — having the time of our lives and still pinching ourselves a little.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We really take everything one day and one event at a time. While we absolutely love what we do, we’re all very aware that we’re mothers and wives first. Family is our priority, and we feel incredibly lucky that it’s worked out in a way that has allowed the road to feel pretty smooth so far.
We pride ourselves on being professional and on nurturing wonderful working relationships with all the brands that have showcased at our events. As long as that stays at the heart of what we do, we don’t foresee any major struggles ahead. That said, the biggest challenge is always finding that work/life balance. Every day brings something new but we’re each other’s biggest cheerleaders, and that makes all the difference.
We’d love to learn more about your work. What do you do, what do you specialize in, what are you known for, etc. What are you most proud of? What sets you apart from others?
We’re three tastemakers with a shared vision: to make shopping feel exciting again. Through Curated By, we create meaningful fashion experiences, spotlighting independent designers who are shaping the future of style.
We’re always on the hunt for emerging talent — the brands you won’t find just anywhere — and we bring them front and center, giving our community the chance to discover, shop, and connect with something new. Yes, we partner with a few beloved local stores, but at our core, we’re here to shake up the way people shop.
We want you to come, stay a while, discover something you didn’t know you needed, and spend the day with friends. It’s not just an event — it’s an experience. It’s a movement. And we’re just getting started.
What are your plans for the future? What are you looking forward to or planning for – any big changes?
Our future plans are definitely in the works, and we couldn’t be more excited. While we’re keeping the details under wraps for now, we can say this: we’re working on bringing the Curated By experience to even more people — making it more accessible, more fun, and easier than ever to be part of it. Big things are coming… we just can’t spill all the tea quite yet.
