Conversations with Veronika Radkevich

Today we’d like to introduce you to Veronika Radkevich.

Hi Veronika, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started photography when I was 14 as a hobby, now I’m 32, and it’s a long journey. I work in a graduation portrait studio as an intern photographer, then I move to Egypt, doing holiday family kids’ pictures, and love stories. Work a lot with couples, big families, and big groups of people as I work at the hotel sometimes I photograph events and conferences. Then I move to Turkey Antalya to work in a hotel for a season as well as a family photographer.

Later on, I found work in Bali Indonesia also at the beginning work as a hotel photographer then I realize that I want to grow and learn something else I move to freelance and start my own journey – I photograph people to nature, I travel a lot around the island watch sunsets feel the nature and was trying to capture the moment.

After a while, I moved to Paris to join fashion photography I use to photograph Catwalk, and Paris fashion weeks, I work with designers and influencers, magazines, bloggers, models, and fashion brands. For the last 6 years, I live in Miami, I start as a freelancer then I grow into a small company we were doing wedding commercials, music videos, and aerial. many different photography and video production.

Now I have plans to move on with my fine art and writing a movie scenario – as my life journey is a huge story tell and I decided a long time ago when I just started to travel and visit other countries learning their traditions culture religions that one day I will turn my dream to reality it was 13 years ago I was 20 full of ambitions and dreams, now slowly dreams start become a reality. I hope that story found its readers and I will be truly happy if it will be inspiring for others to join the industry or start their own journey as a photographer or video creator

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
To be an independent creator is never a smooth path u never know what is going to be next on your journey you are just open to doing what you like, and as an artist and creator I can tell is been ups and down as I never consider my work – Job I always called is a very well paid hobby. Or love what you do and do what you love as I always follow this.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
As I mentioned earlier now is a different stage in my career I move into hi-end commercial projects and fine art we try to create a special atmosphere and attitude for the client as a team and I personally always listen to our client’s needs and vision and offering our creative ideas if its match our client expectation we move on and start creating we not agree to work with a client just because it paid or well paid. We love to create and we love to choose what we want to create for our clients.

My Fine art collection will be launching online and offline soon I’m really looking forward to it as it’s been a year of photographing and collecting my artwork until it can come out to the public. Until I’m ready to show the world my art it is a process for me as an artist – it is my personal growth and growth in my art as well – I have been doing landscape since 2010 and I have been traveling and living in more than 5 different countries I would be really happy to show what is always fulfilled my soul colors depth light and vibes of the places that I’ve been.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I can talk a bit about my story in a few words as I work on a scenario for my movie – it’s a story of my life and my journey my travels and my photography. It hasn’t been that easy as I am a girl that lost her dad at the age of 13 and I learn how to be strong and wise at a very early age. Now I look back and I can tell that thru my journey I learn a lot.

I move to Egypt by myself I spend 4 years in Egypt working as a photographer never been married always taking care of myself and working hard. I’m a self-made person. I met amazing people that help me and take care of me teach me things and become great friends. I truly believe that hard work pays well but at the moment I can’t tell that I realize that my energy is transformed and I can inspire others thru my art and my life story.
