Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyler Henri.

Hi Tyler, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
In the world of high luxury, where precision, craftsmanship, and status converge, there existed a subtle void—an overlooked detail in the lifestyle of the world’s elite. This is where the story of T HENRI begins—a brand born not from necessity, but from an unrelenting pursuit of perfection.

Founded in 2019 by Tyler Henri Gelb, T HENRI emerged as the answer to a question no one had dared to ask: Why do connoisseurs of the world’s finest—those who drive million-dollar supercars and bespoke tailoring—settle for ordinary eyewear?

Tyler’s journey to creating what is now considered the Hermès of luxury eyewear was anything but conventional. Armed with a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, San Diego, Tyler’s path first led him into the rarified world of exotic supercars. Over a decade, he orchestrated over $1 billion in supercar sales, cultivating relationships with collectors, tastemakers, and visionaries. In this world of hyper-exclusivity, Tyler noticed something peculiar—while his clients adorned themselves with the finest watches, tailored suits, and rarest accessories, their eyewear was often an afterthought. Generic. Mass-produced. Uninspired.

But Tyler was never one to overlook details.

His passion for design had been simmering beneath the surface long before the first T HENRI frame was ever sketched. A formative year studying Fashion Design at the Sorbonne in Paris honed his aesthetic sensibilities and deepened his appreciation for timeless craftsmanship. Paris—the epicenter of haute couture—became the catalyst that merged his understanding of luxury markets with an artisan’s eye for detail.

It was there, among the ateliers and cobblestone streets, that Tyler’s vision crystallized.

T HENRI would not be another eyewear brand. It would be a statement. A meticulously handcrafted collection that fused European elegance with the bold precision demanded by modern icons. Every curve, every hinge, every lens would be a testament to artistry—hand-drawn by Tyler himself and brought to life by master craftsmen.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Starting a luxury brand is rarely a smooth journey. The path is filled with obstacles — from manufacturing to logistics and global distribution — each demanding unwavering focus. Yet, passion and dedication have a way of outlasting every setback. With patience, persistence, and innovation, success becomes inevitable — so long as you never fold under pressure.”

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m recognized for designing some of the most innovative, intricately detailed, and meticulously constructed handmade eyewear in the world. Every T HENRI style is produced in micro-batches — only a few colorways and strictly limited to 199 pieces per SKU. We never recreate the same design twice. Forbes has even drawn parallels between T HENRI and Patek Philippe, describing our pieces as true collectible heirlooms crafted from titanium, cotton-based acetate, diamonds, gemstones, and rare materials such as meteorite.

I take great pride in pushing the boundaries of architectural design within titanium and acetate construction — creating sculptural eyewear that reveals hidden details, allowing collectors to continuously discover new dimensions within each piece. What I’m most proud of, however, is that these creations have become coveted by discerning collectors, including kings and royal families around the world, and that T HENRI is now represented in over 80 countries through the most exclusive retail partners.”

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Put yourself out there. Work hard, and present yourself with absolute professionalism in everything you do. Participate in industry trade shows — they’re where true connections are made. Take feedback seriously and act on it quickly. Never wait for opportunity to find you; there are only seven degrees of separation between you and anyone you aspire to reach.
