Conversations with Rydell Danzie

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rydell Danzie.

Hi Rydell, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Wild Game Chef, Host, Writer, and Contributor to several Outdoor Publications.
I am from the most rural part of Alabama, I grew up hunting and fishing like most did in the area. We did not do it for sport, but for nourishment and family quality time. I received my first firearm at five years of age and have continued to be an avid meat hunter ever since. After serving my country in the military I continued to serve as a Child and Family Therapist up in the Northwest. In a twist of life I fell into the entertainment world and made the move to California. After successfully navigating the Acting, and Directing world, my life experiences came to a head as the host for the Gun TV on the Pursuit Channel. While residing in California I was always in Awe of people who were amazed at the “hunting” for your food aspect, and this is how Field to Grill a.k.a. F2G was born.

Bringing you healthy recipes from the field. A Hunting/Cooking show where the Ocean and Wilderness is my Grocery store.

Rydell is a Director/Performer with many years performing in front and behind the camera. His experience as not only an entertainer, but a Child and Family Therapist and Military NCO has taken him around the globe. Although his heart will always be in his home state of Alabama, and a long stint in the Northwest, his home now rests on the sandy beaches of Southern California. The main objective of Rydell’s life is to experience it fully and to live with no regrets. With the successful completions of directing several features, he looks to expand his career as a Director/Actor (among other talents) all the while helping fellow Veterans, and others who seek growth, grow in the industry we know as Show Bizz. While starting his own independent production company, Ynot Sin Pelo Ent, he has helped create jobs for fellow Veterans and Non Vets alike. With his give back/share model he has provided them a safe environment to make mistakes without the stigma of being judged.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Nothing worth doing has a smooth road. If you find yourself on a smooth road chances are you are following someone who has already laid the path.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in living life with no regrets. I want to die years from now on E and never want to say I wished I would have……
As a Wild Game Chef, Writer, Creator, Photographer, Entertainer, and over all Liver of Life I am here to not make excuses, but to make a way!

“It is my personal mission statement to build upon the skills that we have learned while serving this Nation and others. Integrity, Honor, Duty, and Responsibility are not words that diminish when we remove our uniforms. These are words that our foundations are built on. As an individual we must make our foundations as strong as within our abilities so that when others need to stand on your shoulders you are strong enough to carry the weight. I feel as though with the correct guidance and support we can lean, stand on, and stand “with” each other once again in order to continue growth. I am here to continue to full-fill my commitment to my fellow Brothers and Sisters.”

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
We take risks everyday. Everyday we leave the house and get on the road, everyday when we let strangers prepare food for you, each day when we let others take us from point a to b. We should have that same faith in ourselves and just start moving and figuring it out as we go. The biggest risk for me was when I was 17 1/2 and decided to join the military. First time in a plane, first time out and about the world soaking it all in and asking for more.
