Today we’d like to introduce you to Meddy Mahieddine.
Hi Meddy , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey started in Europe, where I trained in Paris, London, and New York before building my career in Miami. Over the years, I became known for luxury color transformations, blonding, and hair restoration while educating other professionals for one of the world’s leading beauty brands. But I realized that clients weren’t just looking for beautiful hair—they were looking for confidence, trust, and an experience that made them feel their best.
That’s why Maison Mi Amore, now MMA Salon, was born: a boutique atelier dedicated to women who value exceptional craftsmanship, personalized service, and timeless beauty. I wanted to create more than a salon—I wanted a place where every guest feels understood, empowered, and cared for from the moment they walk through the door.
Building the business has taught me resilience, leadership, and the importance of never compromising on quality. Today, MMA Salon continues to grow as a luxury destination in Miami, while I’m also developing LolaDesk, an AI platform designed to help salons and service businesses deliver an even better client experience through intelligent automation.
My mission is simple: combine artistry, innovation, and hospitality to redefine what clients should expect from the beauty industry—both inside the salon and through the technology that supports it.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely wasn’t a smooth road. I moved to Miami with a vision of creating something different, but building a business from the ground up taught me that talent alone isn’t enough. You have to learn marketing, leadership, finances, hiring, and how to keep going when things don’t go as planned.
Like a lot of entrepreneurs, I’ve dealt with setbacks that most people never see. There were moments where it would have been easier to quit, but every obstacle forced me to become a better business owner and a better artist. Looking back, those difficult moments shaped MMA Salon far more than the easy ones.
Today, every client who walks through our doors benefits from those lessons. We’ve built a salon where luxury isn’t about being intimidating—it’s about delivering exceptional results, making people feel seen, and never settling for average. The challenges became the foundation of everything we do.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a celebrity colorist based in Miami and the founder of MMA SALON. I work with celebrities, public figures, entrepreneurs, and clients who want the absolute best. My reputation has always been built on delivering transformations that look effortless but require an incredible amount of precision behind the scenes.
Hair is more than a service to me—it’s an art form. I specialize in luxury blondes, rich brunettes, corrective color, balayage, and extensions. I love glamour. I love creating hair that looks flawless in person, on camera, and months later as it grows out.
What I’m most proud of is the trust my clients place in me. When someone has millions of followers, appears on television, or is constantly in the public eye, they don’t take chances with their hair. They come because they know I’ll get it right.
What sets me apart is my eye for detail. I’m obsessive about color, balance, and perfection. I don’t copy trends or rush appointments—I create custom work for every client. My goal has never been to be just another hairstylist. I want every person who leaves my chair to feel like the best version of themselves.
What are your plans for the future?
’m just getting started. My focus is growing MMA SALON into one of Miami’s premier luxury beauty destinations while continuing to work with my incredible clientele, whom I truly cherish. At the same time, I’m building technology for the beauty industry because I believe there’s so much more we can improve. I don’t like following trends—I like creating what’s next. Whether it’s behind the chair or building new companies, my goal is always to keep raising the standard and never stop evolving.
