Hi Julian, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Ok yes! Well is an interesting story, full of challenging moments but also rewarding progress. I currently have 3 mayor businesses. My Fashion career as a men’s fashion stylist, My clothing brand (United Rivers) and my new Social Cocktail bar (Sotto Sopra) in South beach.
My fashion carrier continues to expand boundaries, from styling celebrities and fashion brands to my very own clothing brand.
I began my clothing brand with my brother in the late 2016. All made in Los Angeles and having 0 clue about the business we embarked on this amazing journey to create our own mid luxury label with a western street style design. We relaunched the brand in 2021 after some learning curves, and our professional careers being more flexible. Earlier this year the opportunity to create my very own social cocktail bar came when Least expected! And Sotto Sopra happened before I could even begin to describe it. It’s an exquisite space with unforgettable art pieces from my very talented brother @Riocam and an electric atmosphere. With very sophisticated cocktails that make you want to sip, relax and enjoy a very profound conversation with your +1 or group of friends under our amazing Hi-fi sound system. Ah!!! and the pizza and arancini’s are to die for.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all. But is truly part of the journey. As much as I hated some of the challenges and struggles , they seem to be inevitable for your own growth and success. Love them or hate them they come and they go regardless of your situation. The important part is don’t stop under any circumstances. You will prevail if you and only you want it.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Creativity is the core principle of my business and my daily routine. I sit down everyday and think of what else can i do to improve my business and career. Sometimes it feels like I have an idea that will definitely work and it does, and there’s days or weeks where things don’t happen as planned. But that’s what’s sets me apart. My constant ambition for an idea to reach my targets and reach my people. Creating a brand is a constant process of building, learning and leading for my self and others. The goal is to maximize that idea that will take your business or brand to the next level.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Yessss!!!! This is probably my most important advice. Utilized your address book or your network. Go to every single contact you have in your phone or email and think for a second how can this person help me with my business/ idea or anything you’re working on. He might not help you directly but he might know someone that will. You’ll never know till you reach out.
