Today we’d like to introduce you to Jorge Garcia.
Hi Jorge, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hi, I’m Jorge Garcia. I’m currently the Director and Producer of media at Rock With U. I’ve spent the last 12 years working across music, film and live performances. Over the last 4 years I’ve mostly been in the film industry working on documentaries, commercials and reality TV.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been a smooth road but it’s been the best road for me. For me it was mostly my legal status but after 10 years I was able to solve that.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a director and producer with a background in music and deep love for storytelling. I specialize in making content that feels raw, human, and emotionally honest. My focus is often on musicians, I’m drawn to the energy. I’m proud of everything I do, I guess my latest project with Vix, a local Miami Artist. Her music video for Heart Slayer. I think the only thing that sets me apart is my patience, I can just sit and wait for the shot to get to me instead of me chasing it around.
