Hi Jim, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
A little over 30 years ago, I started my auto detailing business, Classic Touch. Since then, I’ve done everything from repairing bumpers to applying precision protection film, but I really excel at wheel repair. Everyone wants their wheels to look good! When I first started, big auto dealers needed their used cars to look like new, so they called me for the job. After Covid hit, more and more individual car owners discovered my personalized service, and now everyday drivers make up most of my clientele.
My specialty is turning the beat-up, scraped rims that ruin a car’s look into smooth, polished, and paint-matched wheels. I’ve perfected my techniques on everything from a Kia to a Lamborghini!
As I near retirement, I look forward to a slightly reduced schedule, but I’ll continue to transform people’s cars. Over 30 years, I’ve made a lot of life-long customers.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Life is never smooth! As a small, customized business, I found inevitable obstacles here and there, but dealing with challenges is the best way to learn. Now, the Florida weather doesn’t always cooperate but I’ve found ways to work around it.

My expertise comes to you! As a fully-equipped mobile service, I’m the only wheel-repair provider in the area who will work where your car is. At your home, in your business parking lot, or at my own location in Plantation.

With 30 years of experience under my belt, I’ve built a reputation for the high quality of my work. One happy customer tells another, and that has led to a career built on many satisfying long-term business relationships. Quality will always be my goal.
Pricing:
- Right now I’ve been able to keep my prices the same for 15 years I charge $100 if it’s only one wheel I dropped the price to 75 each if you have multiple Wheels when I go part-time next year I’ll probably just go $100 across the board.
