Today we’d like to introduce you to Eran Hersh.
Hi Eran, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started to play records in my bedroom in Tel Aviv at the age of fourteen. Some local bars gave me a chance to play my music during the weeks. Later we moved to New York where I continued to work my way up to bigger clubs and eventually, I started producing my own music and got more recognition.
After a few years, I moved to Miami where I had the opportunity to play in some of the city’s hottest clubs. The city and the atmosphere gave me a lot of inspiration to produce new music.
Today I am blessed to be able to play in clubs and festivals all around the world.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Many struggles, I would say. To not always being able to pay the bills early in my career, Or playing in empty venues. Or when you’re just feeling uninspired to create music.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a DJ/producer in the genre of deep house and melodic techno. I am also the host of radio show called Detox on Revolution 93.5 fm.
I am proud of that after many years I’ve created my own sound and identity in my music. And I never let my passion fade and I always kept going and followed my dream.
Some of my recent work are “Fading”, “Human” (with May Kravitz) that are out with Enormous Tunes.
What’s next?
I look forward to get out and tour more and play big festivals around world (when the pandemic allows).
Eventually, I am planning to have my own album out.
