Today we’d like to introduce you to Dyce Kimura.
Hi Dyce, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started playing guitar at 6 and I been playing guitar ever since. I grew up in Japan even tho I was born in the US. I moved back to the US alone at 19yo and became a full time guitarist by 22yo. I’ve been running my own guitar business in Miami ever since. Now I’m married with 4 kids.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I had to deal with serious drug and alcohol addiction. on 10-14-25 Ill have 21 years sober thanks to God
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I also sing professionally and and can produce songs in Ableton. I also perform locally and do worship for local churches when asked.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love the diverse city and the lively people of hollywood fl.
