Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina Laureano.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I come from NY where failing is not an option. After working for a company that had me doing the job of six people, driving all around Florida, running their business, making them money, and never giving up, I decided to put that energy into something else. I got together with my business partner, Damian, and am happily and successfully growing Springtime Laser.
I lived in NY for 28 years and I learned so much. I left an abusive husband and escaped with my children to the lovely shores of South Florida. After being here for 3 years I met my boyfriend. He encouraged me to push for more. So I decided to get my Florida Based Electrologist and Esthetician license. I had an amazing teacher who never made me feel as if I could not succeed. Three years later and here I am building a beautiful empire, surrounded by some amazing employees and even more amazing clients.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have been a ton of struggles along the way. The first being a robbery. As soon as Damian purchased the assets from the company I left we had a major robbery. 34 lasers were stolen! My coworker Lily and I had to pull out some under cover detective work but we were able to get all of our laser back! The clean up of all the assets from all the business that closed was a struggle. We had to drive to Tampa, Kendall, Aventure, Pembroke Pines, and Boca Raton to retrieve assets and clean out the stores for the landlords.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Our passion here at Springtime Laser sets us apart from others. We don’t treat our clients as dollar signs. We treat them as friends. We love meeting new clients and giving them services that can change their lives. It is so rewarding.
We specialize in Laser Hair Removal and tattoo removal and medical grade facials. Our clients trust us because we care. I am known for my outgoing personality and fun I bring to every appointment. Liliana is know for her knowledge of skin care and ingredients. Dorian is known for her high energy and bubbly personality. Adaris is our front desk and is known for her ability to make our guests smile right upon walking in.
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
For me personally I love podcasts like Manifestation Babe, and Mel Robbins. I attribute a lot of my personal success both in work and in life to Kathrin Zenkinas podcast the Manifestation Babe.
Books that helps me are Napoleon Hill, Sell or be Sold, Tony Robbins, The Hugh 5 Habit and Harry Potter to balance it all out.
