Today we’d like to introduce you to Chef Tanya Ivanova.

Hi Chef Tanya , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born and raised in Bulgaria, a small country in Eastern Europe where I learned from an early age that food is medicine. I grew up understanding that what we eat has the power to shape our health, influence our mood, and elevate how we feel in our everyday lives.

For me, cooking has always been more than technique—it is intention, care, and artistry. Creating a meal is an opportunity to transform thoughtfully sourced ingredients into an experience that nourishes both body and spirit. As a holistic private chef, it is a privilege to serve others through elevated, purpose-driven cuisine that supports their well-being and lifestyle.

My professional journey includes the rewarding experience of being a restaurant owner and food consultant, roles that sharpened my culinary voice and deepened my appreciation for refined, personalized dining. To further integrate wellness into my work, I became certified as a Nutritionist and Wellness Specialist, allowing me to bridge culinary excellence with mindful, health-forward living.

Today, I am deeply passionate about crafting customized menus tailored to each client’s unique dietary preferences and goals. Supporting my clients through intentional, nourishing food—while creating beautiful, memorable experiences—is the work I have always dreamed of and continue to cherish every day.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all—it hasn’t been a smooth road. Like any meaningful journey, there were challenges, long hours, and moments of uncertainty. Starting over, building a client base, and balancing creativity with the business side of things required patience and resilience.

Those experiences shaped me, strengthened my vision, and ultimately made me more confident in the work I do today.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a holistic private chef, certified nutritionist, and wellness specialist specializing in elevated, customized meals that support both health and lifestyle. I’m known for making nourishing food feel indulgent and approachable, never restrictive.

What I’m most proud of is the trust and long-term relationships I build with my clients. What sets me apart is my ability to combine refined culinary skill with wellness expertise, creating an experience that’s both intentional and deeply personal.

How do you define success?
I define success as doing meaningful work that aligns with my values, supports others, and allows me to live with balance and purpose.
