Today we’d like to introduce you to Caroline Antoin.
Hi Caroline, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My path hasn’t been completely traditional. I moved to South Florida from Michigan looking for a fresh start and new opportunities for myself and my daughter. Life has given me some major challenges that have shaped the way I see the world, including surviving cancer myself and later losing my father to cancer.
Earlier in my life I also experienced the sudden loss of my brother, who passed away at just 27 and was my best friend. At the time I wasn’t able and didn’t really understand how to process that grief, and for a while I felt a little lost. It wasn’t until later in life, after losing my father and facing my own health challenges, that I truly began to understand how precious time is and how important it is to live with intention.
Professionally, my background has always been in Dentistry. I’ve spent years working in the field and have always been passionate about the impact a smile can have on someone’s confidence. A smile isn’t just cosmetic—it’s emotional. It affects how people show up in the world.
As a single mom, I knew I wanted to create something of my own that combined my professional experience with that passion. That’s what led me to start Glow on the Go Smile, a mobile cosmetic teeth-whitening and tooth gem service based in South Florida. My goal was to create a more personalized, comfortable experience while helping people feel confident and proud of their smiles.
Starting a business from the ground up takes courage, resilience, and a willingness to grow through challenges. But every time I see someone light up after their treatment, it reminds me why I took that leap. For me, this journey is about more than business—it’s about honoring the lessons life has given me and creating something meaningful for my future and my family.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Starting a business always looks exciting from the outside, but behind the scenes there are a lot of moving pieces that people don’t always see. As a single mom building something from the ground up, there have been moments where expectations and reality didn’t always line up the way I imagined.
One of the biggest challenges has been learning how to wear many hats at once. I came from a clinical dental background, so starting a business meant suddenly having to learn branding, marketing, social media, scheduling, and all the operational parts that come with entrepreneurship. There’s a steep learning curve, and sometimes you’re figuring things out in real time.
Another challenge is simply pushing forward during uncertain moments. When you’re building something new, there are periods where growth takes patience and consistency before the momentum starts to show. But those moments have also been the most valuable because they’ve taught me resilience and trust in the process.
At the end of the day, every obstacle has also been part of the growth. Each challenge has helped me become a stronger business owner and reminded me why I started Glow on the Go Smile in the first place
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Glow on the Go Smile is a mobile cosmetic teeth-whitening and tooth gem service based in South Florida. My goal in creating the business was to combine my professional background in dentistry with a more personalized and convenient experience for clients. Instead of the traditional clinical setting, I bring the service directly to people, creating a comfortable environment where they can relax while still receiving high-quality cosmetic treatments.
What sets my business apart is that my foundation comes from years working in the dental field. I understand the science behind whitening products, safety protocols, and how to achieve results while protecting the health of the teeth. That knowledge allows me to provide professional-grade treatments while educating clients about the best options for their individual needs.
I specialize in cosmetic smile enhancement services such as professional teeth whitening and tooth gems. For many people, these treatments are about more than appearance—they’re about confidence and self-expression. Seeing someone look in the mirror and immediately light up after their treatment is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
What I’m most proud of with Glow on the Go Smile is building something that blends professionalism, artistry, and personal connection. My goal is to continue growing the brand while helping more people feel confident and proud of their smiles.
What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is love, family, and having the courage to grow through life’s challenges. Losing important people in my life shifted my perspective and reminded me how fragile and meaningful life really is. It pushed me to stop living on autopilot and start making intentional choices about the life I wanted to build.
My children inspire me every day to lead by example and to show them what resilience and authenticity look like. I want them to see that it’s possible to rebuild, take risks, and create something meaningful even after difficult seasons.
That mindset is also what drives my work. Whether it’s helping someone feel more confident through a brighter smile or a small detail like a tooth gem, I love being able to bring a moment of joy into someone’s day. For me, it’s about connection, growth, and choosing courage over comfort.
