Today we’d like to introduce you to Carolina Caram.
Hi Carolina, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Born in raised in Miami, I grew up playing sports and as I got older I never saw myself as a pilates girl. Pilates always felt like it was meant for a certain type of person, and I didn’t see myself reflected in that. But when I eventually gave Pilates a real chance, it changed how I moved and how I felt. It taught me strength, control, and presence in a way that felt supportive instead of competitive.
Core by Carolina grew out of that experience and out of something I saw in the real world: so many people want to take care of themselves, but life moves fast. Whether you’re a mom, working full-time, or simply balancing a lot, finding the time to prioritize fitness can feel impossible. I’ve been there myself. I wanted to create a space that meets people where they are, literally, by bringing Pilates straight to their home.
I now focus on one-on-one, at-home sessions that make the practice feel personal, welcoming, and accessible, especially for beginners. My goal is to help people build strength from the inside out and feel confident in their bodies, in a space where they can show up just as they are.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Knowing Pilates in your own body is one thing; teaching it is another. Finding your teaching style takes time, especially working one-on-one with clients where understanding their body and their goals is the most important.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a certified Classical Mat Pilates instructor who specializes in private, in-home sessions. I work one-on-one with clients so each session is tailored to their body, their lifestyle, and their goals. I’m especially known for creating a supportive environment for beginners, people who are either new to Pilates or returning to themselves after a busy season of life.
What I’m most proud of is the personal connection I build with my clients. I enjoy taking the time to learn how their body moves, where they hold stress, what feels strong, and what needs more support. It’s not just a workout, it’s a practice that helps people feel present, capable, and grounded in their own body.
What sets me apart is the accessibility and personalization of my approach. Instead of asking people to fit their life around a studio schedule, I bring the practice to them. Clients get to learn and grow in a space where they already feel comfortable, which makes them more confident and more consistent. My goal is always to help people build real, sustainable strength from the inside out.
What matters most to you? Why?
Life gets busy, and it’s easy for self-care to fall to the bottom of the list. Through personalized Pilates in the comfort of their homes, I help people reconnect with their bodies and build real strength. Seeing someone prioritize themselves, move more freely, and feel confident in their own skin is what makes my work meaningful.
