Hi Carlos, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Been deejaying for a little over 15 years, started doing small gigs like house parties then transitioned to bars/night clubs to doing massive luxury weddings.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s smooth now but starting off was a little complicated.

DJ Niche brings an innovative, high-energy style to
every stage. Born Carlos Mieles in Barranquilla,
Colombia and raised in Miami, Florida, DJ Niche
began his career by throwing successful private
events — and quickly expanded from there. A
bilingual artist with an unmatched ear for rhythm,
he seamlessly blends any genre to match any
crowd, no matter the vibe or venue. He’s rocked
major Miami hotspots including Centro Wynwood,
Hard Rock, Fat Tuesday South Beach, SHOTS
Wynwood, and Exchange South Beach.
DJ Niche has been the official DJ for high-profile
events such as Marc Anthony’s private party at the
Kaseya Center. He’s also worked with major names
like Karim Benzema, John Legend, and Chrissy
Teigen. His resume includes brand activations and
fashion shows for companies like Victoria’s Secret,
AVA by AV, and the Dade County Youth Fair. He’s
also been a resident DJ at Eden Roc Miami Beach
and spent five years at Toro Toro Steakhouse in
Downtown Miami. From luxury private events at
the Versace Mansion and The Breakers to nights at
the Mandarin Oriental, Surfcomber, SkyDeck, and
The Betsy Hotel — DJ Niche knows how to deliver
unforgettable experiences. His energy is
contagious. His sets are electric. And when DJ
Niche is in the booth, the party doesn’t stop.
