Today we’d like to introduce you to Carlos Ayestas.
Hi Carlos, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I must confess that as a child I was not attracted to photography, I never imagined being a photographer. My passion for photography was born together with my first camera in 2005 I got; it was a gift from my mother and it was there that I discovered the world of street & social photography.
I am a passionate photographer about storytelling and love based in South Florida with a belief in diverse clients and diverse interests. My journey to photography began in 2017 when I bought my DSLR camera and I learned techniques in order to accomplish a professional photographer. Less than a year after that some colleagues asked me to take family portraits for them so I built my business slowly from there. I also hold a degree in Psychology & Mental Health Counselling.
About a personal and professional level, I strongly believe in inclusion: love is love, and all are welcome regardless of your race, beliefs, or physical abilities. All I wish to do is make art which reflects the love, joy and any other positive emotions of this time in your life in way that authentically tells your story.
Photography has provided me an extraordinary opportunity to better understand each person I encounter.!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
No easy road; little obstacles; no a big deal!

I am still learning about this beautiful art. I am still specializing on proposals and lifestyle, I hope soon starting to book more weddings and get more experience on that field! I am proud of myself; the key is having a high level of self-esteem! Photography has provided me an extraordinary opportunity to better understand each client that I encounter.
How do you think about luck?
I don’t believe in the “luck”. You will have all you want; all depend over your actions based on your decisions…
